Liquid latex arrived COMPLETELY dried up...
Wrote up a product review for this two days ago and it never showed up (even though the 5 star review I wrote for their stage blood did almost immediately...hmmm...).Anyways, ordered this last week after spending awhile researching liquid latex and SFX makeup. Mehron had really good reviews AND it was already a light flesh tone (which would have saved me some time blending). After it arrived, I placed it in a basket with the rest of my halloween stuff and didn't think any more of it. I'm so glad I decided to do a makeup trial run this weekend because the bottle was completely dried out (It hadn't been opened until Saturday when I went to use it - I even have the wrapper still). I HATE processing returns (especially for items under $10), so I attempted to see if maybe even a small amount at the bottom was usable...which it wasn't...Idk how the seller is with fixing issues like this, but I'm super bummed I couldn't use ANY of the product I bought, I'm pretty frustrated about having to ship back a 1 oz bottle of dried out liquid latex, and I'm a little irritated my first review didnt go through (although Idk if the seller is allowed to block bad reviews, so I can't blame them for this last one). All in all, I'm sure the product works nicely (judging by the pictures on other people's reviews), but BUYER BEWARE! I'm not the only one who has recieved dried out product. Be smart if you order from here and check to make sure the latex isn't completely solid PRIOR to the day you need it!

Not a true Mehron product
I did not receive the Mehron Liquid Latex pictured above. What I received was an alternative brand called Cinema Secrets that was labeled mehron on an outside packaging. Though the item may work the same I do not like being duped. I did product research before I purchased and was expecting a specific brand.

Very durable for prosthetics
I have bought different liquid latex body paint before for body art purposes, but this is the first skin tone latex I've bought for prosthetic purposes, and I have to say I love it! It's not super thin like some clear liquid latex (or even pigmented body latex) I've bought before, and it dries fast with a blow dryer. The dried color is only slightly darker than the color shown and any body paint will go right over it.. It will also wash right off of the latex as well. I used this for prosthetic gills and scales for a mermaid photo shoot, and it worked great with tons left over! Also I didn't have to use spirit gum.. I just dabbed the same latex on my skin, and it adhered to itself better than the spirit gum did. I was also able to save the prosthetics for future use. The body paint comes right off with soap and water. I am extremely satisfied with Mehron products and this one is no different. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to try their hand at working with a great quality & versatile liquid latex. Thank you Mehron!

Use as a pigment additive to colorless latex for casting molds
I am very pleased with how this product has held up over the years and in the sun, cold, and extreme heat. I use it to cast my own ears as an actor at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Hope to see you there! "renfestival. com"(Casting molds require sculpting "Oil Based Sulfur Free Clay" then casting the sculpture with a "Smooth-On silicone mold". After you have your mold made mix this "Mehron light flesh" with "Graftobian latex" together and pour-apply 4 to 7 layers for desired results. For casting latex molds, use Mehron light flesh latex as a pigment and pour 1/3 of the bottle into a new bottle of Graftobian latex. Graftobian is an extremely watery-thin 'clear' latex [do not use it by itself]. Once you mix this Mehron light flesh color into the Graftobian it makes the perfect thickness and base color for casting. Using together will allow a sturdy. For best results use Skin Illustrator's colorless loose powder over top any latex you apply or set into a mold. It will give a protective barrier and prevent it from sticking to itself and ruining your project.I wish you all the best in your latex projects.

Not even the right product.
I'm not exactly sure what game they're playing but if I order a specific liquid latex I expect to receive that in the mail. I ordered mehron liquid latex because I researched and found that it is more pleasant to use around the eyes and mouth. I don't appreciate receiving my package and having some random unknown product in the box. When I researched what they gave me, cinema secrets liquid latex, a lot of people said it it very strong in ammonia and wouldn't reccomend it. Also, the pricing seems to be a few dollars cheaper. I didn't pay $15 to receive a $10 product.

Very gloopy
This has a very thick consistency which makes it hard to work with. I got it to try to cover a nostril piercing so I could put makeup on it and hide it. It does work OK, but the thickness makes it lumpy and it's hard to feather out the edges. It's not as discreet as one would like. If you're trying to go for effect makeup, like a scar or zombie face or something, it would work for that. Smooth to lumpy is ok, but not so much lumpy to smooth. It starts out very light beige and turns a bit darker and yellower as it dries. It's by no means my (or most people's) skin tone, so I think you'd have to put makeup on top no matter what. It does dry quickly, and is flexible and easy to remove.

Works great!!
I went as a Zombie for Halloween - first time I used liquid latex and it was very easy. Went to a kickboxing class dressed up and despite jumping around and sweating the makeup still looked great at the end of the class!!

Way better quality than the cheap stuff
I have been a professional face painter for many years but, just recently started teaching myself about special f/x. At first, I used some cheap liquid latex from the costume store near me but, I didn't like it at all so I went ahead and ordered this instead. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! It dries pretty quickly, sticks to toilet paper/cotton balls/etc easily, and can be painted on. It doesn't have ammonia in it like the other stuff did. The light colored flesh works great with my pale skin and, in the end, I came up with some pretty sick looking wounds! I would definitely recommend this over the cheap stuff. Especially if you are looking for liquid latex to use professionally.

Good quality
Baught for my neice as a present for Christmas as she is exploring the world of sfx make-up. having used this product myself i can say this brand is of high quality. Rather smelly but is to be expected. Not too runny and quick drying. Very excited to see what my niece will create using this!

Perfect for experimenting
Fantastic product for experimenting within the FX realm, for a first time buyer of liquid latex I would warn you that the pungent smell is not just from this product it’s just how liquid latex smells sadly, but overall really good and drys quickly but still gives you time to work

Great but strong
Works well but had to stop using it as the smell is so strong by the time it had dried my eyes were streaming with tears and all windows had been open to keep room ventilated so keep that in mind.

Fabulous
Fabulous. Used on skin. Used to coat scar wax. Used with cotton and leather. For SFX this is the bees knees.
