Went to Alaska bear hunting.
Was sitting in a treestand for 8 hours per night. Ben's headnet kept the mosquito s from biting.would give it 6 stars if possible.

Stop being a victim to invasive gnats, mosquitos, flies, and other Winged insects
Firstly, highly recommended. I was victimized by gnats in the woods in the year 2021 while clearing a path for horses. This summer has been brutal, I am sure you are looking at this, because you too are an interrogated victim. Well it is time to stand up. No more hiding your kids, or hiding your wife with Ben’s Ultranet. So they too, can know that you are no longer a victim but a champion of humanity. A champion indeed. So put down all the whistles and begin to rest with a peace of mind.

The fit is off!
The photo on this image shows that it fits comfortably over an adult male's head and torso. It does not. I am an average sized female and it is tight across my shoulders. The head portion of the netting is also slim and hangs close to the face and neck. Was hoping this would work, but the fit is all wrong. Will be returning this item.

Keeps the gnats out
I bought this for gardening in northwest Florida (the Panhandle), and it does the job of keeping the gnats out of my eyes, ears, and nose. Yes, it's not perfect; I wear it atop a baseball cap, and I drip sweat all over my head and face that I cannot wipe away, but I believe that's a small price to pay. I am pleased, and if this ever wears out, I'll buy another.

Great For Sneaky No-See-Ums
PROS:+ Tighter netting for no-see-ums, but still decent visibility. Not see through, but good considering the mesh tightness for no-see-ums.+ Great under-arm fittings. I thought this would be annoying, but it was comfortable and kept critters from sneaking in from below.+ Decent head/hat elastic. Fit under and over my ball cap. Want a bill cap to keep off your face.+ CheapCONS:- None, really. Get a mosquito netting, if you want more visibility.BOTTOMLINE:++++ Great, tight, comfortable and effective thanks to underarm tie downs. ++++

Awkward net construction
This net would be perfect to wear if it didn't have a useless elastic right in the middle of it. This elastic closes the net around your head creating spots for mosquitoes to bite you because the net is too close to the skin. The funny thing is that the ties they added to the net which secure it to your person are already enough to make the net the best net on the market. As for the hole size I am not sure what sizing it is but when compared to the seatosummit nano net for noseeums the holes seem to be about the same size. I don't have a problem recommending this net if noseeums are your problems if you can get over the ridiculous elastic placement. I am personally over stretching the elastic on mine so I can create some space for my hat to be under the net.

Deet and Ben's Head Net is all you need.
I purchased 3 head nets for me and my boys for a trip to the Boundary Waters in June 2019. We got our money's worth out of these and I'm glad we had them. Portages and some of the slower back water paddling was pretty buggy. With these over our hats we did pretty well. Between the nets and regular shots of 25% Deet the bugs left us alone, relatively speaking.

Effective against no-see-ums, but the fit's all wrong
I do field work once a week in the spring in an area that's absolutely full of biting bugs, so I've tried all sorts of anti-insect measures. This net actually keeps out no-see-ums, which makes it 100% more helpful than the MANY nets I've tried that claim to keep out gnats but actually have holes way too large to be effective. But, the fit of it is terrible. It has underarm straps, which is helpful to keep it in place, but the mesh is so stretchy and cut small enough that it clings to your face. I tried using a hat beneath it; even with a baseball cap or bucket hat type of thing beneath it, the brim won't keep it off your face, and it's not real comfortable to wear with a hat either; it's got a lot of stretch, but it's also small enough to squish your hat. The elasticized hat band part just makes it harder to try to fit correctly, and the "roomy fit" part is just wrong. It's WAY roomier in the product photo than it is in reality. You can breathe through it fine of course, but it makes me feel kind of smothered. Also means it'll keep no-see-ums out, but mosquitoes will be able to get you right through it, since it's right up against your skin.I'm seriously at the point where I'm ready to buy a couple yards of no-see-um mesh and sew some kind of head cover of my own. This head net is the highest quality one I've ever bought, and it's still functionally not awesome.

Does a great job
This does a great job.. You need a hat to hold it away from your scalp. Adjustable straps hold it down tight to your body

Five Stars
Works great while knocking down the timber.

Good for mosquitoes but not noseeums
Smaller noseeums get through the net despite the fine weave of the net. I still got bitten while wearing it unfortunately.
