Second hand item was delivered
Second hand or refurbished item was delivered, however the add did not contain such information.Immediately upon unpacking the Amazon box and seeing the thorn and worn factory box, i felt there is something wrong.once opened the factory box, seen the overlock with scratches on top of its various working surfaces. oil was spilled into the tool compartment and the other signs of usage were clearly seen all around.not to mention that, despite being advertised on amazon.ae (220V network), there was not a single word that item is having 110V supply only.Shame on you Amazon!item is being currently returned to supplier.

JUKI MO-655 IS EXTRAORDINARILY THE MOST AMAZING EVER
Wow, so impress with this addition of JUKI MO-655 to my work force. It's ease of set-up and threading is truly so simple once you do it a couple of times. I purposely removed all the pre-installed supplied thread the factory sent so I could learn. The videos on You-Tube were so helpful but the factory manual that came with the machine is more then sufficient. There is a manual cheat sheet that comes with the machine that explains everything to you. I pinned to the wall and it is such a help as a quick reference. The actually Overcast stitch, the Overlock stitch, Flatlock stitch, Rolled Hem and the Chain stitch option is amazing. I used mine today for 100% cotton, polyester. double knit, denim and even canvas material. Oh my, I forgot, the extra fuzzy 2 layer fleece that I did with the extra Chain Stitch. Unbelievable results. Perfect every time and the ease of the 2/3/4/5 thread option is outrageous. The cost was perfect with all that this machine offers and the warranty is amazing. I have had issues with other machines right from the start and confusing illegible directions that even an engineer could not define but this machine is far past superior in ease and use. All good things and I am super impressed. The photos show it in place and the set up was easy as well. I added extra lighting as I really like my work place illuminated but there is a light that is within the machine and you can even use the machine without the light switched on. A 3 way switch insures this option.I can only say there is one thing this machine needs. That is the waste collection bin that is on most machines of this type. It is available through JUKI but only on the 700 series models. I am sure they will come up with it sooner or later. Past that? Nothing needed. Enjoy your best investment that I am sure will last a lifetime and be passed to others in your life.

Patience & Practice
My old serger after thirty years may it rest in peace I loved that machine. The Juki does do a lot more functions than my old serger so I purchased it.I had read that the instructions were difficult to read they didn't say how hard. The threading of this machine was a challenge, oh yes it is. Patience was used to the utmost. I did buy the dental mirror just to try to thread the machine and The Complete Serger Handbook. My daughter did have to help me with the screws when I was replacing the needles. The screws can fit into your fingernail just too small. The tension will have to adjusted for different weights of fabric. After months of practice, practice and practice some more. Overall, I had to get to know the machine with all of its functions. It does a lot more than my old one.

A Juki serger puchased at Amazon.com that was purchased 2/25/22 and DOES NOT WORK!
I already had a JUKI Peal Line MO-655 2/3/4/5. It wore out. Was a GREAT machine. That is why I ordered the duplicate machine from Amazon. When the new machine arrived, the thread holder accompanying the machine was for a FOUR thread machine. There was no place for the 5th thread cone. It is supposed to be a 5 thread machine. Fortunately, I was able to use my old 5 cone holder on the new machine. I LOVE the JUKI machine. That is why I bought a new one. It was a great DISAPPOINTMENT to see the wrong thread holder as well as only 4 plastic thread caps. This was sold as a FIVE thread machine!
