The media could not be loaded. I'm only giving these four stars because of the time length it took to get them. I will say they are firm and not flimsy. The point is very sharp and goes through the meat with ease. I'm not disappointed with them. We'll see how they hold up to the heat in the smoker. Be careful opening the package, they come wrapped in butcher paper.3/22/16**Update**Ok, I tried these meat hooks for the intended purpose and they worked as expected. The end result was better than expected. The pictures says it all.
