Robust. Keeps my pontoon boat from getting trashed against my dock. I like that it is made in America. Some blemishes in the material, which I found interesting considering how expensive they were, but hey are just bumpers and they are doing their job.

I bought these on Amazon when i went on looking for regular single fenders, expecting to need more for a major raft up we have at the end of every year. Not sure if it was by mistake or not. but the regular big b fender was $49 and these were $59. I bought two and had them shipped with free shipping. they had only 5 in stock and I should have bought all 5 :-O but im not really a greedy person. On arrival of the product i went back to see if they had more and obviously they were all sold out. now they are back at $205.I have used it for rafting boats and its great, i often put two fenders close to each other near the widest point of my boat, to help keep them apart when i raft with larger vessels and this does that job tremendously well. and i dont have to keep retying to keep them in the right place when idiots pass and leave a big wake.and it makes it very easy for the smaller boats when they come and go regularly, if im at the end of the raft.Its the best thing I have used in fenders. and they stay inflated. not like the other cheap fenders i bought.the only negatives i find are that they are bulky to store and a bit heavy to hang but they are great to use.Not sure I would have actually bought them at $205 though.Pernell :-)

It is a quality bumper

It would be very good but it doesn't hold pressure and when I try to install on the boat slip i noticed bubbles coming from one of corner seams.

I have my boats docked on the waterway and unfortunately, people don't honor the no wake zone - slamming my boats up against the dock. Even though my pilings have bumper strips on them the wake is sometimes so much that you can hear the boats crash up against the dock. I had been searching for the right bumper for a very long time and finally found it. These bumpers are wide and stay in place. I tied them around the pilings and now - no more crashing sounds. I bought 4 of them, which came out to around $1,000 but it's worth it because it's cost me more to repair the gel coat and the dock.UPDATE 1/31/2010: I originally gave this product 5 stars back in Sept. 09. From day one, two of the fenders kept losing air. I inflate them every week, which shouldn't have to happen, so that I can protect the boat but now they are starting to break in the center where the holes are. There is a plastic ring that is tearing away from the fender and now it is impossible to inflate and the plastic is actually now damaging my boat, which means that I will have to remove them. At almost $300 each, this should not happen. I am going to contact the seller and hope that they will replace the two defective ones. I will update then.

Great fender system for protecting the side of your boat. I bought one of these for my previous boat and made sure it was my first purchase with my new boat. Yes they are pricy, worth every dime. I use my horizontally and it stays in place between the rub rails. Must have item.

Nice and whats great about it is that you can inflate it to whatever you feel it should be set too.

Great product...first ones lasted 20 years on the houseboat stern...finally succumbed to sun damage...bought them again...easy to install but supplies not included...just reused attachments from first sets...will buy again
