Edible Colors: See, Learn, Eat

Beloved by my kids. Very beautiful pictures and very interesting veggies and fruits. Great for learning about colors and healthful foods.

This is a stunning book. My 18 month old loves it. The book is a bright an colorful board book that is very sturdy. My little book worm likes to point at the different colorful pictures of the fruits and veggies and I tell him what they are. Each page features a collection of beautiful, real photographs of unique fruits and veggies for a specific color. I love it that they give the actual name for each item. For example, the say Japanese Cream Watermelon instead of just Watermelon. This book has become a favorite and it is read and looked at several times a day. It is a nice change from the normal baby board books that are in the rotation.

Bought this book after getting Edible Numbers. My 19 month old loooooves these books. Vibrant photos and terrific sequencing. He loves learning about all the different fruits and veggies, repeating them back when we say their names or looking for ones he knows. Terrific for counting to 12 (in Edible Numbers book) and learning colors. Both books also reinforce that things don’t all look the same in size or color :)If you’re like me, some books you want to hide (or maybe have tucked out of sight lol) as they get boring when your kid brings them to you all the time. Not these! I never mind exploring these books.I plan to give the set as gifts to friends as it’s a unique publication that’s sure to delight the young readers.

This is my son's favorite book. Pictures are gorgeous and of such great quality. It it all real photography. There are multiple fruits and vegetables that I had never heard of and got to learn about with my son. Great book!

A great looking childrens book with bright colors while also expanding their knowledge of different fruits and veggies. Not just, a carrott is orange. A lemon is yellow. I would recommend. I can’t wait for my baby to be here so I can read it to him.

This book is everything I hoped it would be and more! Firstly, the condition of the board book was superb. If you’ve ever had a board book shipped to you before, sometimes they arrive pretty dinged up. This book was pristine! Secondly, the content. I am so impressed. This book has vivid, labeled images for young eyes and young readers alike. I was on a Montessori Facebook page speaking on the importance of introducing children to books with real images vs cartoons and this book was one of the most recommended. I am so glad to have added this to our library and I already have the companion book, “Counting Colors,” in my cart to order! Even my 8-year-Old sister loved it!

Well collected and put together with all the proper names next to the fruits and vegetables. All age groups can learn from it. My 14 month old loves to point and learn the items from it. This book made me realise how much diversity is out there in fruits and veggies what I still have not tried.

Extremely well researched and informative. Real beautiful pictures displayed with the full name of the fruit or vegetable. 13 month old loved it from the first moment. As a bonus you will see some vegetables inside what you might not have seen before. Must buy item!

Beautiful board book with realistic pictures and lots of variety in fruits and veggies. Got it for baby but my 4 year old loves it too.

I wasn't convinced as the book contains variety of fruit and veg that I've never even came across. But we all learn and my toddler loves that book so 5 stars for keeping him occupied/informed/educated.
