I was nervous when I saw the pictures and negative reviews about the ball being too small. However as other reviewers have mentioned, blowing up the ball is a process. I didn’t even wait an hour....I blew it up...I waited 15 min....deflated it a little, blew it up again (it got bigger)...repeated the process after another 15 minutes and BAM the ball was the full size like in the pictures! It seems to be good quality, the wheels were beyond easy to install, just slide them right in the holes and you’re done! My son is 8 and he is sort of short for his age (like 49” tall). His desk is 25” high from floor to the bottom of the desk (where it would hit your thighs) and I would say this chair is ok. I wish it were about 2 inches taller but like I said I think it will do fine. I’m curious about the adult size but from the measurements it seems that one would be way too big. Kind of wish they had an in between size. As for stability, he’s been using it for a couple hours now and he hasn’t fallen off or anything like that. He’s very wiggly and fidgety and the chair doesn’t seem to be a distraction or a problem for him. He was just excited to have a “bouncy ball” desk chair!

This is a great chair for your young kiddo to sit and do homework, color, legos, etc...It comes with a pump, however it does take a bit of time to pump up. I didn't use an air compressor, which would have probably made it easier. The instructions indicate the size of the ball with max blow up - adhere to that. If blown up properly, the ball will fit snuggly into the base, and will allow for firm seating. This is not a toy, not meant to bounce on. It's great for core strengthening and back. Great chair, may buy more. Great for flexible seating within the classroom as well.

The ball chair itself is great and I highly recommend but it was too small for my 10 year old son so I had to buy the adult size instead. I think she’s 5 or 6 is probably best for this size chair only

If I could rate this chair out of 10, I’d give it a 12. It has surpassed my expectations. It’s the perfect size for 4-7 year olds. The ball inflates to 15 inches. I will be a customer of this brand for life. I am so impressed! It even came with the tools needed to put the chair together, and a ball pump to inflate the ball. I put it together in under 5 minutes, it was so easy to construct. I will be sharing this product with all of my mom friends. Chair is comically low. Fits my two-year-old but definitely not my five-year-old and it does not work at a normal kid’s desk but does fit at a toddler table. Top of ball is 15 inches off the ground before you sit on it and compress it. The casters are poor quality and do not work on a hardwood floor with the locks off while someone is sitting on it.

Bought for my little who struggles with sitting still with homework/reading. I’ve used this one time and to tell you how totally different his reading was, I can even explain it. He typically gets distracted and stops every few words with some random/unrelated question. Then to get him to sit and read is a struggle. Always starts with a tantrum. And even though he’s in 1st grade and knows punctuation, he wasn’t stopping and taking breaks where he should. So I told him to sit on the ball and read… the very first time he read it straight through. The second time I could tell he was bouncing with the correct rhythm of how a sentence should flow. It blew my mind. I hope this is the answer to smooth homework nights. Much smaller than for a regular desk and bigger than a kiddie table. Perfect for his elf length.

Bought it for my 8yr old. He can't even reach the table. The ball that they include and that this chair looks designed for is way smaller than they show in the pics so beware before buying this junk. Unless you table is tiny and low this chair is not going to be usable!

Easy to Put together, we got for my son since he struggles to sit still. Definitely kids size and sits too low for a standard table so he just uses to for fun now.

I just received the item. And the there are only 3 screw , it has to have 4 screws .

The inflatable ball was the problem with this chair. It must be faulty however, I couldn’t find the leak. Kept having to pump it up. I would have given a better star rating if the ball part filled properly. The rest of the chair was well made. Casters worked well. My son spent more time doing zoomies on it than bouncing though *sigh*. I should have bought the larger chair.

Ball was too small for the seat and I can't blow it up more. It drags on the floor when rolling the chair along.
