Architec Concave Acacia Carving Board, Gripperwood Collection with Non-slip Gripper Feet, 13 by 19-Inches

Love this carving and cutting board!! I just got it and put it to good use already...sliced up 4lbs of tri-tip and look at all that delicious “steak juice” in a tidy pool around the meat. There are four little gripper pads on the bottom of the board so it will not slip on the counter top, even if you give it a nudge. This board is a great size. Would easily manage a roast chicken or small turkey and I will definitely be using it to slice watermelon and juicy fruit this summer. It does show some marks from the knife, which isn’t pretty but kind of expected and doesn’t really bother me. The board cleaned up easily with warm water and soap. It’s relatively substantial in size and weight but not too heavy (it’s a carving board after all) and it stores easily in my vertical shelf with cookie sheets.Brilliant idea and design!The only thing I wish the board could do better is pour off the steak juice into a pitcher without spilling the precious liquid. But you can’t have it all! This is a great item and I know it will he used a lot in my kitchen.Will be buying more for gifts!

Beautiful cutting board, very large, sturdy and actually did hold 2 cups of liquid. Husband tested it to make sure because it really doesn't look concave but it is. We are very happy with it. We smoke lots of meats. The board will easily hold a large turkey, couple of pork butts or a large brisket for carving and serving.

Bought this as a gift for MIL who always prepares a huge turkey at Thanksgiving. It is a beautiful cutting board and it does hold 2 cups of liquid (we measured!). If you're tired of having meat juices all over your counter, get this board! It's attractive enough to use as a serving piece after carving!

The very slight angle slides for easy cutting (who knew an angle is easier on the wrist and controlling thin slicing? ) The best surprise to me was using this as a proofing and kneading board. I bake bagels and breads (my comfort activity) weekly, this is easy. An added benefit of working the dough on it is the board gets oiled on a regular basis. Clean up is a breeze. The silicon feet keep it in place. It is lightweight and easy to pick up. I've also used it as a dessert tray! The board is well made, sturdy, just the right thickness,and beautiful! Did i add that it would be a perfect gift for anyone who cooks, bakes, and or has a kitchen!

When I ordered this cutting board I expected to be able to at least see the accentuated concave center. When I pulled out the cutting board I was very disappointed. It looks flat as a pancake. If I going to buy a concave cutting board, then I would expect an exaggerated concave center that would be obvious it could hold the juices. I haven't added water to see what the result would but this clearly not what I was expecting and what I truly want.

I love the size and shape of this board. I didn't believe it could hold 2 cups of liquid and had to see it for myself, and it definitely does what it says it does. The concave center is so subtle, you can't see or feel it, so it doesn't interfere when using it. The only down side for me, it is hard to pour drippings off the board like a cutting board with straight sides, but not a deal breaker for me.

I really like the fact they say it will hold a cup of liquid and it does . I used for the Thanksgiving turkey and it worked.

I have purchased 4 of these for family. This one was a gift as well. Good gift for the BBQr
