Do not consider this camera for anything. The quality of video is atrocious. I can barely make out what I have recorded. The modes that are available to record don't work. I set up for a time lapse and it record 3 random days to record video and nothing the rest of the time. Please just buy a different product and save yourself the time and money.

Finally bought my first time lapse camera and I must say this is a really nice for a fun hobby projects. The clamp and the monopod is really sturdy and easy to use and can be attached to almost anything. You also get the adjustable phone clamp which comes in handy to use with your phone. 5 stars for the clamp and the monopod and the handy carry bag thats included.The camera itself is portable enough to carry with you anywhere. The lens has an F2.0 aperture but this can be changed with the other lens Brinno offers. I have so far only used the lens that came with the camera. I use it mostly for time lapse videos at the beach and from my room overlooking the beautiful Diamond Head crater (Sunrise and sunset) here in Hawaii but the other modes such as step video, still and stop motion are pretty useful too.Like the other reviewer mentioned a reusable batteries would have been handy but it seems like the normal Alkaline battery lasts a very long time so it should not be a concern to most of the users. I did try powering and recording the camera with the USB-C-to-USB cable to a wall adapter when I am using it indoors to save the battery.Right now my wife has set up the camera to shoot one of her flowers blooming which will take some time but we are excited to see how that turns up. We also like the schedule mode shooting for times you want to record at times without manually recording and stopping.The menu/settings needs a little getting used to but you will get the hang of it quickly. You shoot something and the video file is ready on the memory card. Overall for a beginner like me this is a great little device and my wife loves it too! Win win.

This is one of the coolest things I've purchased. I do a huge Christmas light show every year, and have always wanted to do an extended time lapse video to put on my website to help promote it. I had tried using my phone, but inevitably someone would call or text during the process and the time lapse would be interrupted.I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who also is into the Christmas light community and it surpassed my expectations. Super easy to set up and the initial video test I did was great! The attached arm and rig set up was intuitive and easily attached to my work table. I thought it might not cover as much, but the angle of the lens was actually a lot larger than I thought.The video I attached to this review is from a 3 hour session I had prepping my lights for this year's show. Really excited to get a video of my set up day around Thanksgiving!

I really like this small camera! I didn’t watch the instruction video so I did not put enough batteries in the camera at the beginning... which is really stupid because they have provide me 4 batteries required for operating this camera. Anyway, watch the video if you are not familiar with this product. I really like the accessories come with the camera. The clamp is really flexible and can be fixed on lots of stuff. I could clamp it on the handle of the drawer and took time lapse video of my sun conure. Also all the tools can fit in the handy bag and it’s not too big so it’s really convenient carry the whole kits around!!!
