My Gaiters
I have a 11 1/2 shoe. My gaiters worked fine on my Trail running shoes.

Gravel and sand got into my shoes and hurt my feet

Perfect for my altra shoes. Ran a half marathon in full on sand and had no problem with sand in my shoe. Threw them in the wash after and they look as good as new with Velcro still intact. They also came with extra Velcro which came in clutch when my friend ordered a ‘one size fits all’ gaitor that was WAYY too big so we were able to stick my extra Velcro on hers! Would definitely buy again!

These work well when hiking off trail
Lightweight, seed shedding fabric, simple design. Works well.But securing the rear hold-down requires adding stick-on Velcro to the heel of your boot which is not necessarily easy.My Keen boots have a strap there, and so I don't use the rear hold-down. Doesn't seem to be a problem in the desert, but is something to consider. Easily solved with a tie-down or grommet if one really cared...

Great Addition to the Altra Shoe Line!
What a great addition to the Altra shoe line. The Peak series has a gaiter capture system already built in so this marries with that system perfectly, thus elevating the quality of the already amazing Altra trail shoe line to one of the best out there.
