It works
I am convinced those leaving reviews that say this leaves a greasy film on the face, just don’t know how to double cleanse. This is used on dry skin, rubbed in, then loosened with a little water, and it dissolves even the toughest make up. But you have to wash your face afterwards too, otherwise you have some oily make up residue all over your face, but you should be washing your face after removing your make up anyway. Also, it doesn’t smell of chemicals, it has a faintly peach scent, it’s very gentle on the skin and it’s great value for money.

Left a 'vaseline' residue on face - hard to remove
This product did not really work as anticipated. Having used other cleansing balms such as Clinique 'take the day off balm' and Soap & Glory 'glow your mind', I probably had rather high expectations, but wanted to see if there was a more affordable alternative out there.W7 'peachy clean make-up remover' seemed like a worthy contender from its description and first appearance. It has the same balm consistency, like the other more expensive branded cleansing balms and goes smoothly onto face. Then you splash on the warm water... This is where it starts to disappoint. It does not 'melt' onto skin and disolve/loosen make-up as anticipated. Instead, once water is used, the balm takes on a vaseline texture, leaving a 'waterproof' film across the face which is smooth but feels like it takes ages to rinse off, resulting in needing to use soap or other facial wash to remove the residue until your face feels clean and free from the greasy 'film' (which sort of defeats the object of it being a make-up removing, facial cleanser).I'll be going back to the more expensive brands - because I know they work.

Does smell but works
I read some reviews about it having a chemical smell, which it really does. It doesn't smell like peaches at all.I had a full face of makeup, I put some on my finger tips and rubbed them together until an oil formed and rubbed on my face. Now I was wearing water proof mascara as well as everything else and it did come off, however I rubbed repeatedly on my eyes and after 45 seconds they became irritated. The mascara came off and if I kept my eyes tightly closed, the irritation might not have happened, though I can't say for certain. What I can say is, although it smelt horrible and did irritate my eyes after multiple rubs and me opening them, I do have sensitive skin and it hasn't come out yet and my makeup has been fully removed. So, it gets the job done, tho isn't nice to smell.

Great product
Great product! Only need a small amount to be massaged into damp skin and is easily removed using damp microfiber face cloth or damp cotton pads. Removes makeup well, even thick magnetic eyeliner. Leaves skin soft after use. I have sensitive skin & not had any issues/breakouts with this.

Weird smell
Not sure if my pot is off but there's definitely no smell of peach. It smells like crayons, my daughter also said it doesn't smell of peach. The actual balm itself is nice. I usually use the body shop chamomile balm but thought I'd try this one because I'm not a fan of the body shop smell so I'm a bit disappointed. Wouldn't buy it again. Thought it was a bargain but now have another one I don't like the smell of.Took my make up off well but is stinging my eyes a bit. Espa products do the same thing and and much much more expensive so just my weird eye balls.
