Fantastic off-road vehicle. Travels at a pretty fast speed, & no need to chase it as works from quite a distance away. Can tackle most obstacles really well, even sent it up a kid's slide - no problem. 12 yr old grandson LOVES it.High enough off the ground to cope with shallow puddles. Battery going up hill, down dale, in longish wet grass lasted a full 30 minutes, & great that it comes with 2. Easy enough to change them, though top body of vehicle has 4 'pins' that must be removed first, might be a bit easy to lose those & comes with a few spares, we bought more for a few pounds on-line & prefer them (slightly longer & easier to manage).All in all, this has been a great purchase, so much so that older grandson preferred it to his own (which goes marginally faster but can't tackle the shallowest of obstacles), so we've had to cough up & get him one of these!Can't comment on longevity, haven't had the 2 we've bought long enough, if there's a 'weak' point I'd say it 'might' be the top body of the car, it's plastic. But treated & stored with care hopefully it will last. I'd fully recommend this product.

Knowing how destructive my children can be at times I opted for this car as the reviews all pointed out how robust it was (plus it was given plaudits on a RC car website), and I have to say that so far (touch wood) it's taken quite a number of hits with no damage :)It also goes a fair lick when you put the speed restrictor to max, even on fairly long grass. And I have to say this the speed restrictor is a fantastic feature (not sure if this is common place now but certainly wasn't when I was younger. My kids can set it to max when on the field and limit it in the back garden so it is easier to control.The battery pack is tiny (compared to when I was younger) and manages to keep going for 25-30 minutes which is great, plus this comes with a spare battery so an hours worth of fun. Battery is easy to swap out as you would expect.Only tiny gripe is one of the rear screws wasn't screwed in properly so the wheel wobbled. But once screwed in this was perfectly fine. Not an issue at all.So although this isn't the cheapest RC car out there it is fantastic value for money and I would rather pay a little bit more for something that will last.

Bought one for my son's present, on Christmas Day found it only worked for a few minutes and then the remote stopped communicating with the car. Ordered a second one hoping he'll still get a car before the end of the holidays, but the second one did the same thing as well as having a rattling noise inside the controller. With the first one, we found that a few hours later it worked again for a couple of minutes and then disconnected indoors. I've concluded that these are poorly made. If you look at the box there are even spelling mistakes like 'hoking hazard' instead of 'choking hazard.'

I bought this RC car for my daughter. I have had RC cars in the past and even built my own from a Kit many years ago but this is so good. I really like the fact that you can turn down the throttle for little ones but turn it up for adults. It comes with two battery backs and some spare parts should you need to replace them. The car is great over all surfaces but particularly fun on lose surfaces because the power to weight ratio is so high so you can skid and do donuts. Very happy with this product

Purchased 2 of these, when we first opened them they looked quite well made, however after using them twice, 1 of them had an intermittent fault where it would either not respond for a min, or would just suddenly start reversing by itself, the other one decided it didn't want to steer, spare parts are not available and no way of contacting seller. Returned both cars and will be purchasing from a reputable company that has after sales support. Its a shame as they look good and when working are fast and great fun. But spending that much on a toy I would expect it to last longer than 1.5 hours

It's fast great fun for the kids only issue is swapping out the battery when it's cold pins that hold it in place can be tricky..

The media could not be loaded.  My grandson is very happy with this car. Goes very fast and does what they say. Battery life good. Does lots of tricks and sturdy.

the truck is very fast but be careful the 1st use the body shell broke in the 1st 5 mins. it still works but I have tried to get another body shell but contacted seller and got no response and tried other sellers but the size per: 1:14 is difficult to find.
