It was easy to inflate & just took about 5 minutes. Material feels soft, the stitching all around is clean w/ out any loose or hanging threads.Our yorkie is able drink his water in the bowl comfortably. I like the buckle that the velcro runs through for a perfect fit around his neck.He’s an 8 1/2 lb. Yorkshire terrier.I highly recommend this product.Well done!

Nothing fits 5 lb Chihuahua! Neck 8 inches. This XS fit perfectly and measures exactly what their size chart indicates.In a jam, needed something that would keep her from getting to abdominal stitches. This was final attempt.Surgery suits all way too big and baggy on her, she walked out of them.. Soft cones too big, she stepped on them and fell. Bought this out of desperation and it’s perfect! It worked so well, bought a second as a spare. Yay to the maker of this product. Very happy with sizing and product. Well made and smooth, durable, attractive fabric.

Overall this was a very nice collar and it did its job well. My shiba inu has a very thick neck, so he could get it off if I just attached it to his collar. Instead I put a harness on him for the time he was recovering and tied the collar to that by the attachment loops. Larry didn't seem to mind it at all the whole time he was wearing it after his neuter surgery. He did mind a traditional cone, so this was much better.. Inflating it was super easy. It only takes 2 or 3 big breaths. He used it as a pillow quite often, so it must have been very comfortable. The cover zips off to clean it, however you have to deflate it first to remove the inflatable part. Then the cover can go right in the washer no problem. He got it dirty quite often between digging in the yard and sniffing in the grass and mud on rainy days. I'd recommend a backup so you can wash one while still having another for them to wear.

Our chihuahua is able to eat and drink easily with this on(XS neck size), while also seeming quite comfortable. He doesn't seem to mind it at all. And it successfully keeps him from being able to access his healing sutures. He was miserable and unable to eat/drink unassisted with the traditional Elizabethan collar the vet gave us. Highly recommend.

Our fur baby (cat) had to undergo a major surgery to both hips days ago, and upon discharge the surgical center/vet gave us the standard clear, hard plastic "cone of shame" so that our little buddy wouldn't be able to lick/reach his incisions on his hind hip area. Not sure how much YOU can find on the internet about this not so easy experience with a cat. Talk about no sleep, and awful thing to put on an animal, let alone a CAT! Everything says for dogs, or has all these wonky size recommendations...it's too much! I searched Amazon for a soft collar at the recommendation of a fellow cat loving friend and loved the reviews and ratings of this product, and it was an amazing selling point that the collar was able to be shipped and delivered to me in less than 24 hours- it arrived the very next morning and we are so thankful!Product is exactly as described; friendly soft material outside and thicker inflatable inner tube that appears sturdy. Velcro and metal loop closure I was a little worried about with noise of velcro, but the metal closure that it loops through provides perfect and easy closure and hardly any noise at all. Our little boy took to the collar right away and as my husband calls it "his airport neck pillow" is working beautifully to keep him comfortable in these first couple of days after such a major surgery. This is one of those things we never thought about but when we got him home and that darn plastic thing prevented him from seeing around him (increasing anxiety and stress) and he could not reach into his water or food bowls, or get into the litter box opening without banging into everything. This collar is soft, supportive, comfy (or so our little sound sleeper appears to feel this way). It's wide open view and easy closures make it an incredible addition to this very scary time for us! He can easily eat and drink on his own with the collar on, and inflated, and he's able to get into and out of the litter box on his own without banging into anything! Win all around and we seriously could not be more thrilled, and thankful for this product.Highly recommended 5 stars, hands down. Our boy is a 15+ pound "fluffy" bellied Maine Coon mix breed, and the XS size collar fits perfectly.
