Best Iron You'll Ever Own!
I'll never use another iron again - this is a little bundle of magic!!!!First used this when we stayed in an Airbnb on holiday, and I just had to have one!Had it for eight months now, and it's the best Iron I've ever used - and I've had plenty, of all types, weights, and top brands over past 40+ years! This little beauty, with it's light weight compact design delivers on power, versatility, glide, and packs a punch with steam when needed. From silks to linen and denim, I've ironed everything you can imagine, and the lightweight sleek design makes for a much faster job of the thankless task.Would highly recommend it... and, we've now got family converted and loving it too!

Light and small water tank, but iron's.
A few things to not, the cable is really short, my previous one was at least 0.5m longer, wish I had checked. The water tank is way too small and empties rather quickly. The iron itself is actually really light, don't know if its a good thing or bad.Our previous iron was continuously getting scorched, now I don’t know if that was getting too hot because sometimes I feel like this doesn't get hot enough, I am convinced its the former.Well, in summary, its irons really well, need to continuously fill for large pile of ironing, but its really easy to iron with as its light. Only other minor criticism would be that my hand sometimes catches on the dial, but that’s a minor really. Please consider these points when buying.

Lightweight but does the job
I bought this iron to replace my previous Philips steam iron. It is lightweight and is not heavy with a full tank of water. When filling the tank you can see it filling but it is not clear, so you have to watch it or it will spill out. The sole plate is slightly smaller than my last iron, but it has made no difference to the ironing results. The lead is slightly shorter than my last lead, but the old iron lead was constantly get twisted up, this lead has not got twisted whilst ironing, so a definite positive for me. The lead is attached to the iron with a moveable ball, so when you are ironing the ball allows the lead to drop so it does not get in the way of your wrist. There has been a couple of water drops during ironing, but these have not been a problem. I have found that I have had to set the temperature slightly higher to get the results I want, but with everything new it is working out how it works best for you. This is not a small iron and I would not describe it as a travel ironI do not like ironing, but I am happy with my new iron and the results

Great iron at a budget price.
The media could not be loaded. This iron is great value for the price it is being sold at. Well made, sturdy and the Philips brand lives up to its reputation.I bought this to replace a well used but increasingly unreliable iron which I’d had for a few years. From the outset it felt nice in the hand after taking it from the box. Lightweight and with a decent sized reservoir so you have plenty of steam to set about your ironing pile. There are multiple steam settings on the iron but the ECO setting provides plenty of steam to make an easy job of smoothing out your clean washing. The heat dial is solid and feels very robust. As for the cable length, it is comparable with the iron I’d bought this to replace and I always use an extension cable so that I can iron in front of the tv.As has been mentioned by other reviewers, it doesn’t come with a cable clip, however I simply removed the clip from my now redundant iron which is off to be recycled so it’s not an issue. I’d suggest doing the same if it bothers you not having one.So in summary, this is a great little iron which made short work of a large pile of clothes in next to no time.I’m confident in the iron lasting for a long time as I live in a hard water area and use deionised water which prevents limescale build up.I’d recommend this product for those after a great quality iron at a bargain price.

Impressive
Having tried all (yes really) the major brands except this one over 50+ years of ironing I can honestly say that this little iron (the soleplate is much smaller than I was expecting but no less efficient) is incredible. It just irons so beautifully and easily. As other reviewers have mentioned the cord is far too short but luckily I am able to use it very close to a socket so haven't really encountered any problems. Ironing the bedding (sheets etc) takes a little longer purely down to the size of the iron but it still does a really good job. Highly recommended (make sure you have a nearby socket or you will need an extension lead).
