Vacuum Tube Set for Fender Blues Deluxe, Apex Matched

Installed on a 96 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, even though the listing is for a Blues Deluxe, this listing was cheaper than the HRD even though they're the same tubes.Labels on the power tubes have all the tube test specs. They are a perfect match. Forums and book specs suggest a MV rating of 60-90mv, I set mine at 85mv. These tubes replaced a pair of 7581A USA power tubes with cracked bases and no other markings, as well as a a pair of Sovtek 12ax7wa in V1 and V2, and a Sovtek 12ax7LPS in V3. The tone before was useable, it lasted me a few gigs and many hours of playing at home. I'd say the cleans were boomy, thick, and percussive.The drive and more drive channels were a wet, slappy type of distortion. I bought the amp used and inoperable due to dirty pots and a missing speaker cable. I repaired these and while inside I found the filter cap mods and assumed it was ok. A year later I checked the bias. The Bias was set to 115mv across the power tubes. I didn't have any issues with them, but I wanted to start new on a known new set of tubes since I will be gigging this amp more. Installing and biasing the new tubes to 85mv yielded immediate tone changes. The amp is less touchy at low volumes so I can dial in a proper volume easier. The cleans became less boomy and percussive, sounding slightly more sterile than before, but ultimately useable. The drive channels wet slapping distortion became drier sounding, less sloppy and more smooth. A fantastic change. Palm mutes have a musical chug instead of a wet bum farting, and the overall character of the amp taking pedals improves. I play rock, blues, reggae, alternative, and metal (thrash, prog, black, melodic). My guitars are tuned between E standard to B standard and a 7 string with a low A. I use every channel on this amp with and without pedals for each song, the new tube set works perfectly for what I need. The package arrived in a large bubble wrapping inside of a smaller bubble envelope with fragile placards. Highly recommend!

Bought my Fender Blues Deluxe for $200. I knew it had issues. These tubes made the amp sound perfect.

I just put these tubes in the amp a couple days ago to see how they compare to the tubes I have now. I bought these as back up due to the Russian stupidity.Let me tell you about stupidity:2 of the preamp tubes do not work. The power tubes are also unreliable going in and out. The amplifier is useless with these. The amp screeches if you turn on the of channel and there's a buzz as loud as the guitar on the clean. Funny thing is as soon as I get this trash out, the amp is running perfectly fine.Close to 100 of my dollars, for a joke. I could have donated that money, or fed homeless people 50 McChickens. I could have spent 50 dollars more and gotten tubes that actually work.

Put set in my fender blues reissue. Had no sound so replaced the tube with this set. Got sweet sounds but very little volume. Perhaps I hav anther problem. I am not a tech so my 2 star rating might be unfair.
