I decided to treat myself to this printer as an upgrade from a 200 dpi printer of a different make. The difference in print quality with this one at 300 dpi, is amazing! Obviously, we need to remember that at the end of the day, it's a thermal printer. It only prints like a receipt and in black and white, and it will never print as high quality as a normal printer, but for what it is, I couldn't be happier! I am SO happy with it!It came with a 'starter roll' of the sticker paper, but I also purchased some semi-transparent and white sticker papers alongside it. I bought the official Phomemo ones which claim the prints last up to 20 years. I wanted to be able to stick things in a journal, so longer lasting was important, as for those of you who are not aware, thermal prints do not last forever and will fade at some point, and if exposed to higher temperatures and sunlight for purlonged amounts of time. I would urge anyone buying the papers to check the claimed longevity on them, as some are only manufactured to last a couple of years. Obviously, the longer lasting ones cost a touch more but I would recommend them for prints you need to be around for a while. The rolls are easy to load into the printer and are held in by a roll holder. You can fit other makes of paper/sticker paper in (measuring 57x30mm, but you have to put them in without the roll holder to fit, but it works perfectly. But again, check what the claim on its lifespan is to avoid any disappointment. I've noticed, other makes range from about one, two, and ten years preservation time. I bought some plain paper rolls with shorter life span just for quick bits and pieces (temporary notes etc) and pleased to have the option to do that as those rolls are cheaper. It's also a good option to have cheaper rolls if you feel like printing random things for fun when you first get the printer (which believe me, you will!!!) , and to see what it does so not to waste your more expensive types!The app is easy to install and navigate, and there are LOADS of goodies on there, including templates for memos, schedules, clip arts etc, so there's plenty to get going with, and of course, you can import your own photo files. Photos print surprisingly well, I find, though you might have to play around with the brightness and contrast settings on some individual photos to get the best results. There is also some print quality settings you can adjust which can also make a big difference. I tend to find the 'fine' or 'dedicated' settings best for photos.At the end of the day, this is a cute gadget which serves its purpose of being useful, and it is just really handy to be able to print things off quickly. I do recommend the 300+ dpi models now I've seen the difference, it's well worth spending that little bit extra on.EDIT: There's a card inside the box that the printer comes in, telling you to register for the warranty... I did this and received a free storage bag! It's really nice and velvety, has the Phomemo logo embroidered on it, and has room for the printer and three paper rolls! So I recommend registering! Though please note, the website language kept changing and going funny when I tried on my phone, but managed to do it on my Kindle Fire instead, so if you have thus problem, try a different browser/device!

Simple to use and lots of fun. Would be a 5 star if app was a little quicker and it printed in colour. Overall my 10 year old loves it.

As a bullet journal fan and stationary addict, I've had my eye on this for a while. I treated myself and absolutely love it so far! It arrived well packaged, with simple instructions in the user manual so I had it charged, connected to my iPhone and printing in no time at all. There are lots of useful customisable templates and graphics and the video tutorials in the app are very helpful if you want to get started quickly. I bought some additional papers - the sakura design sticker paper is gorgeous! It took me seconds to change the paper and print, so simple! Really looking forward to having a lot of fun creating with this fantastic little printer! Thank you ^_^

I love it. It does what I expect it to do- which is not to make perfect prints. It is really useful for printing off bits of info that I need to keep or quick notes. I am using the 20 year paper which is my preference because I don’t line the idea of all my notes fading. I know they will eventually anyway so I don’t use this for journaling like I have seen some other people do.The app is easy to use and has a lot of cute features. Even if you ignore all the clip art etc, it’s still a very useful tool for quick printing of info.

I would be keen to buy one of these in a few years, if by then they get them to work as advertised. For now, the print quality was too low to print even the most simple diagrams.

I bought this to put name stickers on resin I'd made, I bought the see through paper also, but you can still see the lines and the print can be quite faint, had high hopes for this, but not as good as its made out to be. A bit disappointed.

My daughter loves this little gadget . She uses it for everything . Her work folders are covered in photos and other prints .I have saved a small fortune on paper and ink for my home printer as she now uses this gadget for perfect size prints in homework books. No more cutting and glueing .

Funktioniert sehr gut. Qualität des Drucks ist sehr gut. Vor allem finde iches Klasse, dass maneigene Dateien ausdrucken kann.
