This stuff is AMAZING! The smell is great and does a fantastic job refreshing my locs. (4c hair) It does add a nice softness. I did use with a honey oil found here (https://amzn.to/43cFnax) You will not regret buying this.

Moisturizing but sticky.
This is doing what it's supposed to which is to keep my hair soft. I haven't seen it help with itchiness, but that wasn't the primary purpose I got this item for anyway. I do agree with the reviews that have mentioned the smell and stickiness. The smell was a bit off-putting at first, but either I've gotten used to it or the intensity decreases over time because I don't notice it as much anymore. I did dilute the liquid with water, so that might be it. Either way, it leans towards a more pleasant smell now, thankfully. As for the stickiness, I don't think it makes my hair sticky. However, I use my hands to fluff my hair after spraying, and my hands feel sticky/tacky afterwards. Whenever I touch my hair for the first hour or so after spraying, I get this effect. It could be that I am using a lot of this product at a time, but I find I need to use that much in order to get the moisturizing effect (which lasts all day by the way). Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and will probably be buying more.

Where's the mint?
I purchased this item to moisturize my hair and for the smell of rose and mint.There was no smell of mint just rose. I don't care for the smell. I'm waiting to see if this product will moisturize my hair .My rating is based on the smell at this point.

Great product for locs! So glad this product was bought to my attention Lock back for safety. Value for your money.For those having a problem with the spray bottle you must push button on side of nozzle first to unlock then spray.
