Good Quality veneer
I used this veneer to resurface a desk and then coat it with polyurethane. The end result turned out very good. I am happy with how easy it was to adhere the product by pulling off the backing. The veneer I received had no flaws and looks great.Very Happy!

and I think it came out great.
Worked. Iron it onto the side of your maple particle board, etc.First time I've used this sort of veneer, and I think it came out great.

Easier than applying glue yourself, I guess.
I'm wrapping a drum set with the maple, and leaving it natural (no stain). Pieces come rolled with the wood facing inward, so be prepared to flatten and acclimatize them for a day or two before using. Because I'm applying the veneer around the drums, it has to bend in the opposite direction from the way it was rolled. So I cut my pieces and curled them around the drum shells for awhile so they would "remember" that shape when I applied them. My 24"-wide pieces were actually made of two 12" pieces, so there's a noticeable seam running down the middle for the length of each. Just something to think about if you're veneering something wide. The wood is nice and smooth and uniform. No knots or discoloration.

Really doesn't stick
I am a professional cabinet builder and have applied peel and stick veneer several times before. I normally prefer a traditional wood to wood veneer glued on with contact cement. I bought this product because I was in a pinch and it was delivered very quickly. The veneer surface was of excellent quality, but after I had started installing the cabinets probably three weeks later, I began to see bubbling all over the veneer. I had to tear it all off and throw it away. I paid good money for this stuff, it isn't cheap at all and I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did.

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles
I had lots of bubble with this product. I ended up removing the veneer altogether

Adhesive didn’t hold when wood was painted.
The wood looked great. About 1/4 inch of adhesive missing from one edge. When I painted the veneer, the wood absorbed the paint, the adhesive gave, causing “bubbles”. I’m going to have to pull it up, which looks like it’ll be easy enough to do given the bubbling, and try a different approach.
