These have a very small opening. They wouldn’t fit on my shower rod or even in my closet on the clothes rod. The opening of the larger hook is only about 1 inch.

These are nice looking. We bought them and they installed easily. The big problem is that they get caught up on each other. We were getting ready to buy a different style because this is a real problem. I got the bright idea to alternate the direction of the hooks. Looks a little odd, but now they don't bunch up and get stuck. Would give these a higher rating for 2 reasons. First, that they got stuck every time until I switched them around. The other problem is that we didn't get enough for our standard sized shower curtain. We had to use one old hook from the last set because we were either shorted one, or they don't send them out with enough.

I had some shower hooks that are shaped just like this that I had gotten at Target but they were getting rusty. This shape makes it *super* easy to take the shower curtain off/on to wash it so I wanted to get the same style. These definitely work but they are smaller than the others (and some in the set were smaller than others).I was able to get them on my shower rod bc it's an adjustable/extendable rod and one half is smaller but if your shower rod is even a slightly larger than average, you probably don't want these because it would be a hassle to get them on and off.

The ball at the end is too large for both of my shower curtains.
