Q: Is this bag big enough for highschool age softball equipment? Is it adult size? Im afraid to buy and its more for a small kid size equipment

My son is 10 however he is 5’2 140 lbs so he has his glove and adult size helmet in it with room to spare as well as two regular sized bats fit. Its a normal size backpack. Definitely not kid size.

Q: Does it have an elastic hold strap for the top of the bat?

Yes, there is a strap on each side to hold secure the top of the bat. The barrel goes in the mesh net at the bottom and the handle goes through the elastic strap.

Q: Looks like most reviews are for youth baseball. Will this hold an adult length bat ok, or will it not strap in as well?

Yes, it will. I have a pair of 34" Adult Slow Pitch softball bats in mine. They fit, and work just fine with the straps.
