Deco 79 Poly-Stone Gear Bookend, 7 by 5-Inch, Set of 2

I love these bookends. They look great and go perfectly with my decor. I'm using them to hold up about 6 books and they hold fine. Decent weight. As others have stated, a little more weight would be ideal but they really are perfect for my needs.

They fit our decor perfectly!! Very nice and good quality!! They look just like the picture and feel heavy but could have used felt on the bottom of them, will have to add ourselves!

Not bad. It's made out of wood. There's no metal in it at all, but it looks like metal (bronze). Given that it's made of wood it's a little lighter than one would expect/want. It's just meh when it comes to its primary job of keeping books in place. Heavy books will push it back if those heavy books start to lean the opposite direction. It does look nice. A little bigger than I had expected, but not too much of an issue.

Good looking, lightweight, and fragile. Use for decoration or very light loads only.I was using the pair to hold up 5 softcover textbooks, nothing too crazy. When I took a textbook out, the others fell and knocked the bookend over. Fair enough. But when it hit the floor it broke in two. This was from a height of 2 and a half feet, landing gear-side down.That being said they do look nice. I'll probably glue it back together and use it for a few binders that stand up on their own. Just be aware that they're mostly decorative.
