Value for money
Fitted tomorrow n place of failed valve and does the job. Nice to get all the fittings and silencers within the price. Excellent value for money.

Surprisingly high quality valve at this level.
Hefty N.O (Normally Open) pneumatic solenoid valve. Actuated by 24VDC signal. The case of this valve is partially stainless steel, with machine threads for 1/4” accessories, and partially plastic for the removable coil and PCB for the electronics side. If you found a similar lower (or higher) voltage control module (or if this one broke), it would be possible to easily swap the modules. Included 1/4" quick connect fittings are great quality and pre-wrapped with Teflon tape for a solid seal, accepts 1/4" tubing (surgical, etc).Valve performance is great, once it's broken in, very quick response times, quality exhaust ports and fittings and easily waterproofed at the control module end.The only thing that hampers this device is the fact that it is a normally open valve, which means it must receive power to close the valve. This completely destroys efficiency, unless your system is constantly injecting gas or whatever is being transported and needs the valve open for more time than it's closed. I could see it being useful in carbonating soda on a large scale as an example. Keep this in mind.Great piece of engineering.

Fast response for a pilot valve
Pilot valves are nice in that they can switch pressures above what you would expect from their voltage. However, that comes at the cost of two-stage actuation and thus slower switching times, sometimes much slower, especially at low pressures. Not so with this valve, which is surprising at the budget price point. In 24V, switching 50 psi, I was getting times on the order of 100 ms, which isn't direct valve territory, but is very good for a pilot valve at low pressure.
