Had one but lent it t a friend who. Lost it! Sopurcagsed another. Saves damaging your callipers when changing you brake pads.

Was ok for a few jobs and then the plates bent and it is no longer usable. I’ve purchased an upgraded version of the same type.

I own a w204 62 plate Mercedes c220 amg sport I ordered this tool to compress the the calliper pistons on this car and it works perfectly there are a few negative reviews and good ones . So if you need a tool for this job on this car it certainly works easily and effortlessly so buy it if you need one for this car . But this should most likely work for most if not all cars . It’s got a big platform and it’s tough and robust I found it effortless

Although an easy to use tool, I certainly didn't expect the retaining nut to thread itself rendering it obsolete.Not worth the money as you will only gave to buy another

This is a bit sturdier than the slightly cheaper pressed steel type of spreader - the plates appear to be cast iron. Smooth thread action, can exert the required force easily with the operating handle, and reasonably quick to retract. Worth spending a bit more over the cheaper type.
