Perfect sizing, excellent fit

I cautiously used these in a wall to connect a brass water tubing when we rearranged the kitchen. Before closing up the wall, I monitored them for a few days. One had some seepage which I tried to tighten a bit without success. I replace it with another and the issue was resolved although I didn't button up the wall for several days, just to make sure. I really couldn't determine why the first one leaked and have use the same installation technique successfully for many years.
