My daughter absolutely loves these books. Spot on. Really sums up the trials and tribulations of a tween!

Good fun book to keep tweens entertained. An easy read for my daughter but she loved it and spoke about the books for days. Helps with embarrassing scenarios and ushering them into teen life.

My daughter is 12 and suffers from dislexia so has always struggled with reading and maintaining focus. My wife and I have tried buying books from various genres and authors to find something she would enjoy. Unfortunately the subject matter has never been captivating enough to hold her attention and to persist with a book…..until Lottie Brooks came along.My daughter now sits with this book giggling away to herself and later retells us what’s happened to the characters. This is a MASSIVE breakthrough.She read the first book in a couple of weeks and while waiting for the second book to be released read again a couple more times.The new book has been equally enjoyed and again is now been read for the second time.Thank you Katie Kirby for writing this series of book and making them so relatable to tween girls.

My 10 year old daughter got given the first book for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I had to get the second book. Perfect read for a pre-teen about to start secondary school (who also happens to love Kit Kat chunkies!) My daughter loves a vast range of books, but these books are definitely her new favourite! I loved seeing her engrossed in reading it, especially with the occasional laugh and big smile on her face. She couldn’t just couldn’t put it down!

it was a good book but i wasn't to hooked on the story line.

My ten year old twins were so excited to get their hands on the second installment Lottie Brooks - they rushed home from World BookDay and got stuck straight in (whilst still dressed as Oompa Loompas)! After staying up til gone ten reading under the covers - they proudly declared at 9am on Saturday (via Alexa) they’d been up for two and a half hours reading and had finished the book. They’ve already started to reread it. So, I guess I’d call that a success and worthy of a recommendation.To be fair, I hugely enjoyed the first and am looking forward to being allowed a turn to read this one too. We’re already forward to book 3 in August!

I have just finished the book and it was amazing! You’re the only author who writes books I’ve enjoyed! Your books are hilarious and when it said “what if he tries to kiss me when I have mint choc chip round my chin” made me laugh out loud. I have asked my mummy to order the 3rd book but she said you’re still writing it, fingers crossed I don’t have to wait too long! Now I am waiting impatiently for your next book which I am busting to read. From your biggest fan AS age 10! Xx p.s I also love monster munch and Kit Kat chunkies!
