Women's Hybrid Leather Palm Work Gloves (Wells Lamont 3215M)

The pair I got turned out to be Wells Lamont HydraHyde goatskin leather, not deerskin. To me, this is actually a pleasant surprise: they're still amazingly soft for leather, with excellent dexterity; at least as good as other true-deerskin gloves I've used. The fact that they're actually goatskin should make them more durable than deerskin (at least in theory, I haven't put them through the wringer yet.) And the fact that they're "HydraHyde" is good for me too, since I'll be using them around snow. (Though I'm still going to bake in some Atsko SnoSeal to be sure.)I've measured my hand as having a 7.5" circumference, and 7" length from the start of my palm to the tip of my middle finger. Even though I'm a man, I've found that "Women's Medium" is the size that fits me best in gloves made by Wells Lamont, it's like it's a goldilocks middle-size between their "Men's Small" and "Men's Medium." This glove's finger-length is spot-on for me, no extra flop at the fingertips.

I work outside with my husband. I am constantly on the lookout for gloves that fit me. Women's gloves are always pink garden gloves. Evidently women are not supposed to work outside. Men's gloves are too long in the fingers. I can wear these in a size small. I like them and they seem to last, but they are expensive. I wish they weren't so high priced. Its just as easy to lose expensive gloves as inexpensive ones.

The gal loves these. She loves the fit and feel of these things, and I loved the price (twenty bucks) - a great value. Remember, these are women's gloves so if you're accustomed to getting a small in a man's size, the small in woman's size will be way too small. Check on line for women's sizing charts. They are easy to find and will ensure you get the right size. These are made of deerskin, so don't use them to move cinder block or concrete shingles. The deerskin is softer and more pliable, but not as sturdy as leather or pigskin. The gal likes the long cuff on these - she says it helps keep the dirt out. Love these gloves! I'm a cash crop farmer and pumpkin grower. I use these in the hay mow or even picking pumpkins.- The velcro at the wrist helps keep chaff out and dirt.- The glove, over time, molds quickly to your hands.- I also love that they are generic work glove colors too. Just because I am a women, doesn't mean I need to have pink nor turquoise gloves!

Runs small. Returned for a larger size and fit is really nice.Leather started peeling after one wear, but I'm still happy with the product because of the fit. It's hard to find work gloves for people with small hands that are not pink.

I have a hard time finding gloves small enough, and these fit perfectly. The leather is too delicate for real gardening work. Mine looked torn up after the first use. They haven't worn through anywhere, but I think I'll get the heavier version next time. If you're just doing a little pruning, these would be fine.

These are very nice gloves. Unfortunately we wanted them for handling firewood. Pigskin would have worked better for that, however Wells Lamont does not make a Men's small or a Women's Med. in pigskin. I hope these hold up ok. I would highly recommend these for horseback riding. I may order a pair for myself (these were a gift) for the purpose of riding.

Son exactamente como lo muestran en las fotografías, NO son para trabajo duro ya que la piel que tiene en la palma es delgada, son para pequeños trabajos pero útiles, cómo dije la piel es delgada y eso te permite tener un buen tacto a lo que estás agarrando, no le pongo 5 estrellas ya que pensaba que era de hombre pero son de mujer, aún así me los quedé para que se lo diera a un familiar, en fin... No los recomendaría pero tampoco diría que son pésimos, son de una calidad medía.
