It is light and easy to operate...

I ordered the 4 pack of oil lanterns for power outages. Filled them up and lit them to burn off the paint. Let them burn for 10 minutes and blew them out. Put them on my work bench to cool. Next day was going to put them in the house, but found an oil mess on my bench. 2 of the 4 lanterns leaked through the bottom seam of the tank. I was going to ship them back but I didn't keep the original packaging so I guess I will throw them away. Junk..Now the 2 i didn't throw away leak now. Absolutely terrible product.

2 out of 4 leaked. On those I just keep the fuel level low. But they look really good. They functioned well. I can use all 4. May have to fix 2 of them to make them more water tight. It’s a simple old fashioned design. Those leaks on the seams might be common.

Materials feel like plastic. I honestly was not sure if this was meant for decoration and I had misread the listing. I put oil in one and lit it outside just in case, but it worked perfectly fine. All the components are functional. None of the framing got hot while lit, so I feel comfortable lighting these. But you should know what to expect, this is why the price is so low.

I love these oil lanterns. I didn't know that they were still made. Great quality. Small like I wanted so I can hang them like they are intended for. I read some other reviews and laughed because any oil lamp that has a wick will leak if you turn it over. These are great for emergency if the power goes out. If you want a bigger flame increase the wick height. Love them. Great buy too.

The quality is what you expect. Decent but not super. You wont be disappointed. It is an oil lamp. But yes, this lamp will change your life...especially when you rub it on the glass and bring out the Genie inside it....now I have a Rolls Royce, a yacht, and a huge tax bill.

Do not recommend. These things are as cheaply made as it gets. The paint job looks like it was done in someone's garage after about 8 or 10 beers. Literally all 4 of them leak kerosene. They would probably be ok for just decorative use without ever being lit but I don't recommend trusting these on a camping or hiking trip.

I have a lot of experience with oil lanterns. Has uncontrollable flame. Super dangerous! Not safe to use!
