It Wear' After about about 1 Season of Use
I bought this pump to move standing water out of my backyard after heavy reain storms. Have had this issue for a while. The pump worked great for the first seaons of use. Now into my 2 season of use, the maind part that moves the water just wore out on me. The rubber sprocket that pushes water through the motor will eventually wear over time and it becomes completely unusable and must be repalced.I did put it through heavy use and it worked great for a while. Just don't count on it lasting you more than a year or two.

Are you a boy or are you a girl?
This pump is the perfect size for small de watering jobs.It includes some pump oil, spare brushes for the motor, a replacement impeller kit, along with a short length of garden hose.If you plan on draining a hot water heater, run out and buy a female hose end as the pump is made with 2 male connectors and the drain hose will need to be configured with 2 female connections.

Read the reviews before you buy.
Great pump. Fittings do NOT go with garden hose. Had to buy some parts from Homedepot but needed up returning pump because this pump is made from applications like priming a soda machine or something.

OK when it works...
Pump is worthless.... ok when it wants to work. Had is almost a year and have used it 3 times, hard to self-prime. Always more trouble than its worth. Consider it a total waste of $$$ as I am now looking for a new pump that works well.

Pass on this pump!!
First pump I received was dead on arrival. Replacement pump shattered the rubber fins on first use. Definitely not worth the money and hassle.

GARBAGE, buy any other pump…
This POS didn’t pump one drop for me. The instructions make it seem like there’s nothing to it, but this thing just bubbles in the water and started smoking (yes I oiled it). We expect pumps to get us out of soggy situations, this thing left me all wet. You’re better off using a self powered siphon.

Miss representation
The PUP61 box says 300 gallons per hour at 0 lift not 360 as the description states. I had a -6ft lift (so it should've even better with siphon effect) & could only get 163 gallons per hour. Plus that was not using the useless hose pipe that collapses. I did work but not as well as they say..also it self primes but you have to put a teaspoon of oil in it Every time to avoid impeller burn out. It's an ok pump but that's it.

The pump is great, I use it for removing water from my hot tub. The water flow is fast. The piece that sits on the bottom to collect the last bit of water is weighted which is nice so it doesn't just float up. One big thing missing tho: THE HOSE. The 6' included hose WILL NOT WORK properly. It is the cheapest flimsiest hose I have ever used. Because the pump works so well, the hose collapses onto itself due to the suction. So, lose one star because I had to supply my own suction hose. Otherwise the pump seems great.
