Sofa mode: This sofa is on the firm side. Stunning looks. Fabric feels high quality. The depth is perfect. You can easily sleep on it (in sofa mode) length wise. You can have lots of pillows and stuff and still two people sit comfortably. With the back cushions removed, two adults can cuddle/spoon easily. Back of the seat-back is finished and looks great when floated in a big room. If I had one complaint, would be the backrest being at least 1" taller. This sofa has a fifth leg, located way in the back, so you will not see it or bump into it.Bed mode: We bought it because is about the only sofa bed that is actually regular-sized bed. The bed is wide enough to be able to be called FULL-sized bed in length, but not deep enough. Nevertheless, Two people (5'9" and 6'1" that move a lot all night) can sleep well and fully stretch when sleeping length wise between the arms. The pop out legs, and the frame and opening mechanism makes it easy to open and very sturdy (we are 165 and 200lbs each). Similar to the sofa experience: on the firm side. Given that one person sleeps on the seat part and the other on the seat-back part (backrest folds down and aligns with seat) the level of firmness is slightly different and feels like two narrow beds butted together. This was not an issue after us sleeping in it for about a week. BTW, a FULL-sized mattress topper fellsDelivery and moving: The box is ENORMOUS. The sofa arrives mostly assembled (you only have to put in the legs and the seat-back) hence the size of the delivery. We got the sofa just in time for my parents to visit... three weeks after, we moved apartments. If you don't have help (another 2 people) get as full service delivery as you can. If you are good with tools and have help, you can further take the sofa apart relatively simply. When we moved, I was able to separate the seat, back and arms. Very simple construction, yet sturdy.

The Nouhaus modular sleeper sofa sounded like what I was looking for: microfiber and not looking like a sofa bed. I bought mine through Amazon because Nouhaus did not have ocean color in stock. My friend ordered bordeaux also from Amazon. Both arrived on 9 Feb 2022. Her box was badly damaged and ripped in places but her sofa survived except for a deep indent in one spot. My box was perfect but not my sofa. See photos attached. There were two nicks in the seat; the legs were scratched and the back did not align and therefore could not be assembled. I called Nouhaus Customer Service immediately, as per Amazon's instructions. The person sent me an email and asked for photos, which I emailed immediately. I received a response to say that Nouhaus will replace the defective and damaged sofa. I finally got a replacement on 17 March: two men delivered and assembled the sofa for me. However, the back cushions were badly wrinkled. I tried steaming it as per Nouhaus advice but it did not work. I filled polyfill but it made no difference. I called Nouhaus again and got my replacement back cushions on 24 April 2022. Yes, it was a real ORDEAL in my getting this sofa. I read some reviews of poor customer service from Nouhaus. This was not my experience: Nouhaus customer service was excellent; the person I dealt with was very responsive. However, I do agree with some of the comments in various reviews: the product is manufactured in China. For the price (I think it could be $400 lower), the quality should be impeccable; Nouhaus must exercise greater quality control. The wrench provided is not good: it gets in the way of screwing in the legs. While one person can convert it into a bed, you need two people to assemble it. I love the design of this sofa. The quality is very good.

I’ve had this sofa for a year now and it is very aesthetically nice. I wanted a sleeper sofa in my studio apartment so I could have guests stay over without having to get in bed with me. The guests I had this year did say the ‘mattress’ is very firm but otherwise not too bad. I’m hoping to resell it this year as it is just not comfortable at all to sit on for longer than the length of a movie. One of the support legs that folds out also broke off about 2 months ago. I think this sofa might be nice in a secondary room that wouldn’t be used as often, not as the main furniture in a living space.

I have stalked this couch for months- reading reviews, considering, waiting for a drop in price. I was reluctant to purchase such a big ( and big ticket) item on line without getting to sit on it and see it in person. I finally ordered it during prime days when it was on sale. It arrived yesterday. The shipping process was fine- box was in decent shape and it was delivered on time. As an elderly woman, I needed help with unboxing and putting it together. It’s 178 lbs. but 2 of us put it together fairly easily. It’s gorgeous. I got the blue velvet version. Very well made. It turns into a bed quite easily- ingenious design with the supporting legs tucked in zippered compartments underneath.I can easily put it in bed mode by myself. I am moving to a senior housing studio apartment and needed a sleeper couch. It is very firm- I’m planning to purchase a mattress pad to use while sleeping on it. I am thrilled with this purchase- it’s gonna last for years and the design is really elegant. I’m very pleased.

Contacted Nouhaus the day I received the sofa. It was missing a leg in the packaging. Been a month now and still no confirmation that a replacement leg is coming. Pretty expensive to sit on a block of wood.

So we bought this when we had family staying over.Pros :Firm, easy on the back for a night sleep, comfortable to sleep on, and sturdy.Fast and professional delivery.The material seems to be high quality.No need to make it into a bed for 1 person, as it is deep enough, but that is a personal preference.Cons:As seen in the photos, upon assembly of the legs, i noticed the back right side has only two holes for the screws.The front right side has a tight screw that can only go half way.I would consider this defected sofa, and it may risk the safety and weight tolerance due to one leg having only 2 screw holes.The other issue we had was the surface where the screws go, is small. So if you are trying to tighten the screws, the leg gets in the way of that, really annoying.In terms of the weight distribution, when in bed mode, its best to avoid sitting on the edge. It has support legs, but it can be a bit tricky and the whole thing might flip over.The hidden legs are also not the same size, therefore they do not support as much as they should.Overall, it has been a few days, so far so good. I will be reaching out to get a replacement for the bottom as the all the legs should have 4 screw holes for proper weight support.

Very easy to assemble; however, I suggest you use your own tools because the one that comes with the sofa is horrible. I took much more time assembling the legs than the rest but this was because of the tool. Another tip to assemble without problems is watching the video of the guy setting up; it helps a lot!Overall, the sofa is very firm and easy to open to be a sofa bed. Very satisfied so far!

We have only had this Sofa bed for around 1 month and no one has slept on it so far. It seems to be very well made and sturdy. Large enough to sleep two regular sized people. The company has been great to deal with. The only slight negatives I have are that the seat/mattress is very firm and is fine for sitting but maybe too firm for sleeping? The other thing is that the back is quite short and there is no head support. Ours sits against a wall and we use throw pillows so not really much of a problem.

The sofa is good but it arrived with one center support leg missing. Tried calling Amazon and the vendor but got no response. Bad service, will not buy or recommend anyone only because of customer service.UpdateThis review grabbed their customer service attention and contacted me to deliver the missing part free of charge. Hope that the company will update its customer complaint registration system to avoid such instances going forward. Overall the sofa is great quality, receive a lot of compliments.

It's a great looking couch as far as looks go but don't ever count on sleeping on for more than a night unless you're putting on a mattress/ topper. For the price of this product, you expect comfort as well. If your guest has slept on it and said they slept well, believe me they're just being polite. It's super uncomfortable because of the hard surface and I wish I had known before I bought it considering the price.
