ScunciEffortless Beauty Headbands, 1 Count (Pack of 2)

I just re-ordered these so my review will be based on the ones I ordered five or more years ago when I ordered at least a dozen pairs.Yes, these break. I think it’s from the oil in my hair and after a while they just start to get. brittle. When I say “a while” I’m talking months of everyday use.Yes, they can get a little uncomfortable behind the ears, but not always and I find it’s easily fixed by tilting the band forward to put the ends in my hair instead of having them hit behind the ears (I added a picture of this so you knew what I meant).Now for why I love them. I have thick, curly hair and before I found these headbands I had NEVER found one I could wear that’d hold my hair back. These have made my life so much easier and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t get them on amazon anymore since they appear to be discontinued in stores. Nothing gets out of this thing and it holds the hair back tightly and out ofmy face. See picture.A couple things in response to some of the other reviews: they are supposed to point toward the back, and they do work with your hair up. I often wear it with a messy bun (check picture) when I’m hot and have for probably ten years. This is literally the ONLY headband that works for me.

I've been buying these for years, and they used to last really well. Over the last few years I have noticed the quality declining and they would stretch out quicker and break easier. The last few times I've bought them, now they don't even hold their shape when I first put them on and they break very quickly. I can feel that the plastic is thinner and more brittle. I'm SO disappointed! I've tried a lot of other headbands over the years and these used to be the only ones that would make my hair look nice. C'mon, @scunci #scunci, why did you have to get so cheap?! I would definitely buy these again if you go back to the quality that you had years ago. I really hope you do, you had a great product!

I will start my stating that Scnci is a great brand for a diverse and affordable aray of hair accessories but I am simply not a fan of headnabds that contain the larger projecting pieces. Worst off, those that were near the beaded plastic tie of the packaging were separated and bent. The tie was too tight and made it nealy impossible to safely remove the bands alone, worse without damage. Regardless, those that were not harmed were too loose and provided no extra support. In addition, I felt the designs were too simple, a bit wider than what I would have liked and the image of the packaging is demeaning because those are not the same headbands but more like the thinner, three packwithout the large pojectibles also listed on Amazon as "Scunci Effortless Beauty Skinny Plastic Headbands, Assorted Colors, 4-Count" and as can be seen, the same exact photo is used in this packaging as well. And lastly to compare, both listings provided inaccurate, false advertising stating that these were "Pack of 2." You get 2 headbands , period.

Unfortunately, neither of these headbands made it a day. Both of them broke in the middle when I put them on. I still have a few from many years ago and have been wearing them off and on for years. I do not know what has happened to them, but they are very fragile.

i don’t write too many reviews but i have to say these are by far the best headbands ive had and i’ve tried them ALL. i have thick hair so most headbands fall off. there are enough bristles on these but they are very comfortable and don’t give you a headache like metal ones.
