Aura CaciaEssential Oil Diffuser, Aromatherapy Mist

I purchased it originally to use with high quality aromatherapy oils, however, it is more useful to me to use at my desk to add cool mist and prevent dry eye. I have it set right next to my monitor and so it fills the immediate space with moisture. My eyes are very happy now and are not runny all of the time as before. My eye doctor said that using it was one of the best things I could have done for my eyes in the office setting. Its small size is appropriate and unobtrusive for my desk space. It has a four-hour timer, so I run it until lunch time and it automatically turns off. When I return from lunch, I fill it with water again and run it in the afternoon. (It does work nicely with Aura Cacia oils - which are lovely and of high quality, but my office mates somewhat 'freak out' with the scents I prefer to use: rose otto, eucalyptus, sandalwood -which is really too bad- so I had to stop using the oils in it and use it strictly for cool mist.)

Love it. Bought this for my daughter's room, which is 12' x 10' and it is perfect. Could work with larger rooms, but I would imagine the scent would be less strong.Pros:* It has a setting for a 4 hour or 1 hour automatic run* Uses water efficiently - it's actually had a considerable amount of water still left inside after the 4 hour shut off time* Doesn't leave a "wet" mark on surface* Pleasant, subtle noise - like a very faint bubbling water noise* Diffuses oils very well. I used 3 drops lavender and 7 drops of eucalyptus when my daughter was sick with a cold. The scent was very subtle and even throughout the running time.* Very compact - the size of a small soccer ball/indoor soccer ball - making it easy to carry to empty it out or wash out.Cons:* I wish you could unplug it from the unit instead of the wall to make cleaning/emptying out easier* Although it is efficient and I am overall very, very happy with it, I almost wish it would be larger so it could last longer (maybe 8 hours or so)

Aura Cacia is an awesome brand! This is a badass diffuser! It was well made, I like how it has a level on the inside so you know just how much watwr to put inside of it. You get an easy to use, well explained, instruction manual that comes with your diffuser. You have 2 run time options and a really nice light with the option to run without it on as well. The diffuser pumps out great mist! I was looking for a powerful mist put out and this one does the job for sure! This diffuser is worth the cash! Purchase this and you wont be disappointed!

It stopped working after less than a year of use.

Best advice works on less water at first I thought my second one was broken again but this time I learned less water equals more spray and smell . Works amazing has a nightlight feature you can turn off and on . Easy to clean and setup . Twist top add water and oils press button and it starts !Things I’ve learned :Use organic nothing added to essential oils too if anything is mixed like Jojoba base it won’t work . The best smell and strongest is lavender by NOW .! grapefruit also works great but I also use aura cacia in this ( tea tree Franci Roman chamomile etc all work good ) . Multi smells ( like ones with 3 essentials ) don’t work too strong and also use about 7 drops each time you turn it on . The less water the stronger it is ! Do not fill to top of red stopper fill halfway on red stopper and you will see how powerful it is . I love how it shuts off also once the water is out . Ok I have this hooked up for 2 hours now and so pleased. What I like about it most is the fan noise. Now I don’t have to have a fan running whe I go to bed! It’s very subtle and peaceful. It doesn’t have annoying lights that keep me waking up either. It’s high output rather than intermittent which is fine. 4 hours is long enough to run. A tip for beginners - use distilled water.

This diffuser is great. Simple. Only two buttons. Love the warm light it has. It makes a relaxing sound as it works. Like drops of water. So easy to clean. I love everything about it. Highly recommend!!

I have seen this product at my local grocery store for twice as much as I found it on Amazon. It is a good size to sit on any countertop. I was surprised at how strong the scent was that came out. I use to have an older model from 2008 and it did not have the scent power this has. It is very pleasant. I like the features that it comes with. I can turn it on for an hour or four hours and not worry about it. I also enjoy the night light setting. I can't wait to get other aromatherapy scents to put into my diffuser.
