I would think so. It's pretty sticky.

I used it to color code cables and I use black electrical tape seems to be exactly the same just different color and it is holding up very well for my use better-than-expected

I use it to box off areas on a food service counter. The area consistently has water on it, it has held up well and I think it would work for your application as well.
