It is a matte finish which goes on smoothly. It is reasonably like the picture.

Sorry, unable to comment on question. I bought the dark green (Flipper) which is the best eyeshadow I’ve ever come across …. matt, waterproof, so easy to apply and does not crease.

No it go's on very well and stays on all day great eyeshadow.
