My experience wasn't quite as good as several others
My experience wasn't quite as good as several others. I screwed the gauge onto my pipe assembly, and it showed a leak. I checked every joint with soapy spray and couldn't find. It wasn't until I submerged the whole assembly (a little over 8' long) did I see the gauge itself was leaking. They didn't put any sealant around the gauge threads into the connector body, and there was a small leak at that point. If you buy one, I suggest you remove the gauge and seal those threads first with something...then do your tests.

Won’t measure if Unde 3/4 PSI
Easy to install. It is 3/4” female threade, I has a port as well, I believe it is 1/8”.Anything below 1PSI will be guess work, it will only start from 1/2 PSI, you may think it is not working if you get pressure under 1/2 PSI, which got me confused if the gadget was working, it was, the needle hardly move under 3/4 PSI, so don’t send it back, it is the low pressure. If you need accuracy under 1PSI you will be better off with a different model.Good for the price, study enough, although I installed it permanently in a gas line after a shut off valve since I can’t be sure if longer term use is reliable, I only turn it on when I want to check the pressure, when come to gas line if you do not need a gadget on 24/7, use after a shut off valve for safety.

Second gauge works great! Five stars!
The first valve read 4.5psi when not connected, so I sent it back and got another. The second valve appears to work perfectly! Before I used it, I put pipe dope on the treads for the valve and gauge, based on other reviews. Then I connected it to a 3" nipple and a cap, and pressurized it to 15psi as a test. Very little total volume, so this is a very revealing test. After 24 hours, it is still exactly at 15psi, where it started. Now I have confidence in the gauge, so if it shows a leak, I know I need to fix something. If first valve had worked, I would have given 4 stars.

Needle had fallen off and had to take unit apart to fix....unsucessfully
Gauge arrived with the needle sitting in the bottom of the case. I had to open it up to press the needle back on. This did a number on the gauge and I could only get it to go to 11PSI after that. I used it but after speaking to a plumber he told me I should run my gas and water much higher to ensure no blowouts in the future. I removed this gauge and put a 100PSI gauge on the fitting. I held 50PSI on my gas and PEX for over a week each. So the gauge is garbage but the shrader fitting works well. Others complained about the gauge leaking at the fitting, I dont think that would have been a problem on mine, it was a bear to remove with some nice sealer on it. But since I had to take it all apart to fix the needle we will never know. It may be a better option to find just the fitting alone and buy a separate gauge to put on it.

Works fine for 10min testing. Good for the price.
I bought this to test natural gas lines. It helped find a problem seeing how lines leaked over the course of minutes. Once I got to a good section of pipe I discovered this was a leak source of its own of about 0.004 lbs/min, which means 10min tests are fine but testing over the course of hours or days will require some improvements. I re-installed the pressure gauge with rector seal t 2 multi purpose white paste and seems to be good now since I can no longer hear the leak.Update: I took off the air valve and redid the seal which was found to have a minor leak too. There are still minor leaks coming from this but not terribly bad. I would like to have a good seal for days since I'm doing a good amount of new gas piping, but short tests are still ok. I'd be curious if someone makes a better one for a tiny bit more but haven't found one yet, so review stays at 4 stars.

Holds pressure without leaking
Some reviewers said it leaked so I was wary to buy it. I built the test setup above, and after two weeks it still had the same pressure reading as it did a day after. I attributed the small drop the first day to changing temperatures from where I filled it.

Shipping damage due to packaging.
Heavy unit was shipped in an envelope. No box or protective wrapping. Pressure gauge was slammed, needle indicator off the pivot and the dial faceplate bent. Was able to get needle back on but some where inside the gauge it has a slow leak. No good for a leak detector! Replaced the gauge with one I had and it works OK but my gauge was 60 PSI not 15 PSI. Very disappointed in shipping method and its result. Didn't have the time to send it back for replacement as needed to complete job.

Works Just Fine!
Used it to pressure test gas line (1/2" polyethylene coated ACR pipe) and it worked just fine. It held at 3 psi for over 2 hours which means no leaks at my brazed joints or flares!I did disassemble the unit completely before using it and re-applied fresh pipe sealant to make sure that it didn't leak around the schrader valve or pressure gauge threads. Is it worth the asking price .... sure ... it will cost you much more to make your own from scratch (I'm a machinist so take my word that you can't even begin to make your own cheaper even if you have scrap hex stock laying around your shop).

Well worth it over trying to make your own.
Works good. Gauge is clear easy to read. Better quality thank expected for the price.

Four Stars
Good value for price. As others noted, doped the gauge thread to insure not even slightest leak.

Poor quality
Poor quality pressure measuring needle stuck 3-4 psi does not come back to zero.Going to refund

Good design
Has a slight leak which limits its effectiveness
