Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2.0 - Race Road Bike Tire - Tubeless Ready Bicycle Tires for Competition

I'm not sure what happened between v1.0 and v2.0 of this tire but my experience with the latter has been terrible. Whereas I would get maybe two flats a year with the previous version of the Corsa, the new 2.0 has me flatting at least once a month now. I'm on the same roads in similar conditions, yet the 2.0 is not only puncturing like crazy but getting cut up a lot more, too, with some going right through the tread. The wear rate in general seems to have deteriorated and the ride feel is also noticeably less lively. It's still a beautiful tire out of the box but I can't recommend at current unless you have a shelf full of inner tubes ready. Looking forward to v3.0 but putting my Schwalbes back on until then.

I wanted a good looking racing tire but was initially apprehensive about their puncture resistance, however, I have only suffered one flat so far. They inspired a higher level of confidence during high speed group rides and look awesome to boot!

An aluminum bike frame is stiff to the point that it can effect tire traction on hard smooth surfaces like concrete. After buying a new Al. bike (with carbon fork) I crashed 3 times, studied the problem and found that the combination of stiff frame, stiff tires with poor rubber (that came with the bike) were not only a hard ride but the vibration that transmitted to the road caused poor traction. An Al. frames stiffness will improve biking efficiency (a good thing) but, of course, poor traction can be dangerous in fast biking, the Vittoria Corsa G2.0 tires being highly rated in suppleness (allows better conformation to the road increasing traction) and efficient rolling friction lived up to it's rating: the ride was much smoother (better on my ass end) and, surprisingly, I found that I was noticeably faster on the road. So far I haven't crashed. Al. frames are a special case, take care if you have one...

These are hard to get on but ride so nicely. I felt like I needed to make a review though because they absolutely destroyed themselves and my rim slightly on a blowout after just two weeks. The worst part was that I didn’t even hit anything. I was on a straightaway making an attack in a practice crit. I am concerned about the edge now as it’s rather sharp. It’s just a bit of carbon but if this is what one puncture does I just cannot warrant riding these. Get yourself some Schwalbes or Contis and stay away from the graphene clinchers for now...

Maybe, it's just psychological, but the vertical tread seems to help going straight forward and fast, and when cornering, seems to give stability, and hence confidence to the rider especially when going downhill. Speedwise, I don't think I lost anything from Continental GP4000, which I used to use, but switched over because GP4000 was hard to put on wheels, and at least to me, the sidewall threads were prone to unraveling. I hesitate to give Vittoria Corsa a 5 star now because, after one month, I had two small horizontal cuts on the rear tire. I think it may be because it's the driving side of the two wheels, or maybe a lack of luck since I do not have such cuts on the front tire. Now, with such cuts, I have a little bit of fear they may blow up soon, which is not good psychologically. All in all, despite the cuts, I decided to give it the benefit of doubt, and ordered another one just in case the rear tire is not usable any time soon. I like the cream color sidewall band as well, it would look not so nice if the rear tire was of a different color.

So far I have not loved it as much as past Vittoria tires like Diamante Pro. I think I don't love the tread/groves. I thought I would try the light color sidewalls but they show grime quickly. Of the two I got, one caused blowouts and Amazon was good about replacing it.

My favorite road tire right now. I finally wore one out and it took a while. Over gravel, fast road rides, and descents. The tire is fast and supple and in my experience highly flat resistant.

All good for me. They seem good, I only did 150 miles on them yet. Let's see if they can keep up

Mi estreno con vittoria,tras 28 años de afición y competición, al fin llevado por esa estética del color caramelo de sus flancos,decido poner a prueba su mejor cubierta.Punto negativo,enorme,si ,enoorme dificultad para hacer entrar esta cubierta en unas aeolus de carbono...esta claro que al fin pude con ellas(sin usar la fuerza bruta)pero llegue a pensar que no cabrían...Pesan 254 g, y tienen un balón generoso.La carcasa se ve y se siente de una enorme calidad,a la vista se puede incluso apreciar algún filamento de algodón...Ya en marcha el rodar es muy bueno,el manejo y rapidez de reacción tremendo,y el agarre muy bueno,incluso con agua.La estética es muy buena,muy pro,tremenda.Mas adelante escribiré acerca de su durabilidad y resistencia a los pinchazos.

Prodotto TOP!!!Ma purtroppo superati i 2500 li ho dovuto buttare, il cop posteriore, ha avuto un cedimento strutturale della spalla, con conseguente cedimento strutturale delle tele su tutto il lato interessato.Il problema grosso è che ha ceduto la struttura delle tele a mio avviso, ho inoltrato una mail a Vittoria per mostrare ciò e appena avrò una risposta aggiornerò questa recensione.Sono rimasto veramente deluso, perchè a livello di performance sono impressionanti ottima scorrevolezza ottima tenuta in curva, non ho provato sul bagnato, ma su superfici ghiaiose e sporche wow. Ma tutto questo non può essere a discapito della sicurezza. In quanto il problema l'ho accusato in discesa sulla ruota posteriore, il risultato è stato un grosso sbilanciamento della stessa.in attesa di risposta da Vittoria

Siento decir después de 1 mes con estas gomas que son las peores que he usado nunca. Llevo 5 pinchazos con 3 cubiertas diferentes que he pedido en un solo mes. Se clavan pequeñas piedrecitas en la banda de rodadura, que al no tener más aue una capa, perforan la cubierta y cámara como si fueran mantequilla. Yo las he usado solo para salidas en carretera y no puedo recomendarlas a nadie. Son un verdadero dolor de cabeza.
