100% satisfaction with this product
I have heart and kidney failure problems. My legs leak a lot of clear fluid which has settled in the lower legs and feet. I have tried all sorts of mattress protectors etc .... but I must change the bed before I climb back in ... or it's a cold, wet experience. These mats STAY dry ... even a sheet laid over the top stays dry. THANK YOU.

Just the job!
Rate this product. But a thought when washing it..depending on the severity of the wet...you might have to wash the item twice and ensure it is out in the fresh air for drying, if possible.

Perfect!
I have used washable pads for my dog for years. I used a smaller size previously and love them. My dog is over 100 lbs, so I have to use the smaller ones two at a time. I decided to try these larger pads instead. I'm so impressed! The quality is apparent, and they're even more absorbent than the previous ones - no dampness on the back of the blue liner at all!*The original pads are still going strong (as backup), which I attribute to washing instructions I discovered on a diaper blog. 1st step: rinse well with COLD water, no soap. Drain well, then wash as usual in HOT water with detergent. I do a short wash cycle without soap for the rinse, then just add detergent and wash as usual. Prior to doing the cold rinse step, I'd tried every enzyme and additive to get rid of the urine smell, to no avail. This works like a charm.

Cleaning issue
I have not owned this product vert long but the pad seems to be well made. I don't understand why the product can't be cleaned using water over 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Most laundry washing machines don't allow you to set different water temperatures other than - Cold, Warm, or Hot. High water temperatures are important for proper cleaning/disinfecting of bed pads. I've purchased bed pads from other manufacturers with cold water washing requirements. I wish I checked washing guidelines before purchasing these pads. Pads allowing warm water use are available. The manufacturer did contact me asking for feed back. Unfortunately that wasn't an option. It only allowed me to create this review. I would've liked to communicate with Medokare's customer support team before creating this review. Cold water washing limitation is a common deficiency amongst manufacturers. Which I find odd. I think most people would agree bed pads should be capable of withstanding repeated washing with hot water.. Not to mention using bleach which is another no no.
