There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey!

My husband loves to read books abouthe lady who swallowed the fly. So I bought this for him to read to the grandchildren. Fantastic illustrations and an easy read.

Kindergartner grandson LOVES all these books. He received as an UNbirthday gift at little sister’s three years birthday.

Old lady books are fun and silly but they draw young child interest in being read to . I love them because they also bridge the gap between visits . I send for each holiday and seasons. When I visit , they love sharing the story and look forward to the old lady’s next antics ,

Cute book to give to children at thanksgiving!

I bought the book for my daughter and we live reading it.

Cute story. My preschoolers loved it. 😍

I read this story to my students near Thanksgiving, and it taught them a lot of good vocabulary for the holiday. It was really great for helping them describe items, as well as sequence events. It kept them engaged and entertained throughout. The repetitive phrases had them reading along by the end of the story. I would recommend this book to anything who reads to children!

I was hoping for more. As in the way the original woman swallow a fly. Some of this did not make sense.
