It works and the cable is very flexible
So I will start off by saying that this Amazon Basics Digital Audio RCA Compatible Coaxial Cable works perfectly for me at its intended job which is to move digital data from a PC to a DAC, so there is 98% of the review right there. I bought it to replace a 'higher-end' digital coax cable. Sure the 'higher-end' cable I had does have better build quality and a thicker cable, but at the end of the day both cables do their job EXACTLY the same and there is no audio difference between them. That said, build quality is perfectly fine on this cable, especially for the price. My specific reason for buying this cable is that it is very flexible compared to my old cable. I use it to connect to a Geshelli Labs DAC that has the SPDIF connectors on the front of the unit and I wanted a cable that could do a quick 180 degreee turn and head to and past the rear of my DAC and onto my PC. This cable does that perfectly.

Works great with composite video
I started a project converting my VHS tapes to digital. These cables work great bringing over video and audio from my camcorder to my laptop. The video and audio is clear and looks just the video preview I see on my camcorder. I used them with the white and yellow slots (only ones available on the camcorder) but they can work with the red slots on other devices too.The only complaint is the cables are very big and bulky (both the plug head and the width of the actual cable) so be careful if your composite device has r/y/w slots that do not stick out far enough.

Best RCA/Digital Coax Cables out there
I used these cables in conjunction with an RCA Y-splitter to connect my subwoofer to my AVR. Very nice quality for the price, although I wish they would be a little thicker and have a little more shielding. I experienced no hum, but better safe than sorry! These are fantastic for the price!

Good product - I think
Good quality. Does what its supposed to do. AFAIKT. I use HDMI on an older DLP hooked to a bunch of brand new AV equipment. For some reason if I don't have the coax audio plugged from the TV into the receiver, the HDMI video pass-through on the receiver flakes out and I get no video. Audio on the receiver works but no video on the TV. Weird.I have tested digital audio from the TV to the receiver over the coax and everything seems ok, but only for a couple minutes. Basically just to test functionality. All my audio runs over HDMI, so .... I've never needed a cable like this before so I don't have anything to compare it to. Something to keep in mind when reading this. :)

Use for heated shield snowmobile helmet
I was sick of the cheap versions of cords for heated shields either falling out or breaking, I have a team of 4 that rides. Every weekend I was guaranteed minimum of one cord breaking. I decided to try these. Whoa! They stay put and work great. Much butter construction. Downside: I imagine if I fall off the machine it may damage a connector or helmet shield. They fit pretty snug. Good luck on making your decision. I like mine.

Perfect Cable for My Subwoofer Application
I got this to conduct the signal from my AV receiver to a powered subwoofer. I knew going in that my biggest concern would be my cable picking up a 60 Hz ‘signal’ from the subwoofer’s power cable. The beauty of coaxial cables is that it’s virtually impossible to induce a current in them, so I knew I wanted coax for my connection. For my particular application, I couldn’t have asked for a better cable than the Amazon Basics. I wanted a cable that would lie inconspicuously against the baseboard, and the Amazon cable does just that. The outer jacket and dielectric are obviously very soft, and the core conductor braided, so I probably wouldn’t want to try to pull this through a wall. For what I needed, though, a flexible cable is definitely preferred.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The quality is as good as cables that cost 2-3x as much. If your biggest concern is avoiding crosstalk, and a secondary concern is having a cable that will stay where you want it to lie, then don’t hesitate to get the Amazon Basics cable.
