This is much easier to clean than you would think. My son loves to play with it and it keeps him busy for a while.

What a great price for 2 pounds of kinetic sand! All of my kids love this stuff. Great for occupational therapy for children, teaching motor skills (hand eye coordination, grasping etc) helps to strengthen little ones fingers as well.I used this in a medium Tupperware container with a lid. I grabbed different utensils from around the house and my local buck twenty-five store and had my 4 year old dig around in the sand to find small items ( can use marbles, jax anything really). She has learned to dig with her hands and a small garden shovel. She can use tweezers to pick up small items, separating them by shape or color. This is a great learning tool as well as a great way to pass the time.It is not messy, if some gets dropped on the carpet, I just grab a small amount and use it to pick the sand up and it only picks the sand up!This green was a vibrant color. Doesn't dry out like the cheaper knock offs. I will be purchasing many more as my daughter advances with her occupational therapy.

This stuff is great and very fun to play with. I would recommend outdoor use for children that are 3 or 4. If 5 or older, it would be suitable for indoor use, but would still need to be contained somehow. We use an extra plastic tub. If it does get everywhere, the easiest way to pick it up, is to grab a handful of the sand and use it kind of like a "magnet" and it will pick up any extra sand.

My students love to use kinetic sand during indoor recess when it rains, or when we have free time. I also bought cheap cookie cutters from Dollar Tree and they love using the cookie cutter designs with the kinetic sand. Sometimes, tiny pieces of the sand will be leftover after cleaning it all up. It will not ruin any rugs or carpet though.

I ordered this green kinetic sand and also the brown beach kinetic sand from the same company to compare. The green colour works but not near as well as the brown beach kinetic sand. The green sand is firmer and not as easy to stretch, takes more effort.

My students loved it! Zero complaints
