I was having some skin issues, so I bit the bullet and went to see my dermatologist. He recommended light therapy, but of course, it was not covered by insurance and not something I could afford. A friend recommend light therapy devices on Amazon. I had the full face mask, but it was hot and unwieldy to use. I like this hand held device better. It is light and easy to hold, and it feels good against my skin. I don't get overly hot like I did when wearing the full face light mask. I can do treatments on my face while I am watching television. This increases the chances that I will use it every night. So far I am liking the results I am getting. I have used all of the modes at one time or another depending on my skin's needs at the time. I am fifty-five and still get breakouts, and I find that the acne mode helps to calm the breakout and help it heal faster without leaving a brown spot.So if you are not able to afford expensive treatments by an esthetician or dermatologist, I highly recommend this Multifunctional Facial Machine.

This facial skin care product strives to offer vibration massage and phototherapy in a handheld form. It succeeds in the form factor, the design shape allows for easy operation and handling of the product. There are two buttons on the front of the device. The bottom button, with the power icon and 'mode' does just that. A long press powers it on/off. Successive presses of this button cycles through the five modes of operation. The 'level' button cycles through the intensity levels. When I tested the level button, the changes are not noticeable. If there is any difference, it's very subtle. But, in terms of selecting modes and levels,the process is simple and easy.Included accessories: usb charging cord and charging base. The device sits into the base/stand, where corresponding contacts enable charging. There is no usb power plug included, so you need an available usb port or a spare usb power plug.The device body is plastic, contributing to the light weight. This enables easy handling and maneuvering of the device. However, it also makes it feel a bit flimsy.Attached are photos to show real world images, with pictures showing the five different modes.Overall, the product seems like a decent and capable device. I think the levels should have more noticeable intensities. I'd have to say initial impressions were somewhat underwhelming. Based on these observations, this product earns a 3.75 - 4 star rating, with a moderate level recommendation.

I’ve been using this facial massager for a couple of weeks now, every night but really haven’t noticed much difference. I have a few wrinkles on my neck that I would like to get rid of but the wrinkles are left unchanged after 3 weeks. I used the Lift mode (yellow light) for this purpose and on the highest setting (level 5). I do get a few pimples from time to time and the acne function is not useful at all. I tried using the acne function when I had a new pimple coming in and even after two sessions, the pimple’s size never decreased. I do like the vibration from the clean and anti-aging mode. I think it helps my serums and moisturizers to get absorbed into my skin more easily. The Lead in mode is supposed to help absorption but I find the other two modes better for this purpose. This device is easy to use with two buttons only. The whole thing is pretty lightweight and easy to hold. Charges using a micro USB cable. The charger connects to the base and the base holds the device upright which makes it easy to take in and out. I wish this device worked better for me. 2.5 stars.

This handheld device is a great deal! I’m someone who HAS spent thousands on things at dermatologists that I could have gotten at home for pennies in comparison, STUPIDLY, in the past.. so this was very exciting for me to try!I definitely saw quite a bit of calming in my skin the past month. Less redness, slightly fewer capillaries that are bothersome to me, which is awesome in and of itself. This helps reduce inflammation, and these light devices were recommended to me by my own celebrity dermatologist to do just that.You have to be very, very consistent.. that I will say. I don’t know if the massage is doing much if anything. I don’t see any lifting of my skin or any noticeable reduction of wrinkles this past month, but I’m trying to keep hopes high on that. Maybe it takes more time, but I have been putting forth the effort. I’d love to see lessening of my jowls .. some tightening and lift in that and the eye area.But I have rosacea, and I wear lots of makeup because of it, but I’ve had less blushing, and my skin is more of the color it once was, so there’s less foundation needed. I’m impressed for the price tag that I’m seeing some results, as I was highly skeptical. My derm. will be happy when he next sees me. Trust me.. he doesn’t need my money, so he was very honest with me, and told me to try an at home light unit for my skin woes. The heat really just helps bring ick of the pores to the surface for proper cleansing thereafter. That’s what I’m believing anyway. I don’t know what else it could be for, but it’s optional. I do get a good cleaning after washing after using this unit. That I do see. My pores seem smaller, which I love.For the price, it’s definitely worth giving it a try, but patience and realistic expectations are key when it comes down to products like this. It won’t turn back the clock twenty years, but nothing can but surgery. It definitely soothes angry skin, and my daughter has tried it for breakouts with mostly positive results. I got her a similar device so I can keep mine to myself now.. ha ha! But I do believe it stops some pimples before they start, and it also helps clear up acne faster, then without using it. As far as wrinkles and lifting, I’m still crossing fingers on that. If I do see results, I’ll let ya’ll know.4 solid stars for this helpful, beauty item!
