Very nicely made, high precision, good hardware. I got it to mount a home brew 10 meter vertical ground plane on an old camera tripod I got cheap at a thrift store. I turned the mounting plate sideways to adapt to the tripod. I had to tap the 3/8 x 24 threads on one end of the mounting post to 3/8 x 16 for the surplus telescoping whip I had lying around. I believe the original 24 thread pitch would mate correctly to the single band MFJ Ham Stick antenna series, which is more or less what I created here. The bracket was the key to making it all work right.

Rugged with a polished finish. Rotatable clamping feature allows mounting on a verticle stake.

Received this mount today - it's a sturdy one and should be fine under a 4-1/2 foot Firestick fiberglas antenna and heavy duty spring. Note that the hole pattern in the mount and backing plate allows the backing plate to be attached with its groove running either horizontal or vertical - so this mount is usable on most standard RV ladders - except perhaps for Lance truck campers with larger diameter ladders. All parts were included in the adhesive-sealed bag. I deducted one star due to the use of chromed steel nuts and bolts rather than stainless steel hardware.

This seems to be the only design available now. In the past I have been able to get (and was looking for) a mount adapter with a double mast groove in either direction. Rotating the clamp 90 degrees works but only with smaller mast pipe sized. Smaller pipe limits the size of the antenna mount and length of pipe below what I need. In high winds, it may collapse. Time will tell.

This is perfect for the Wolf River coils Sporty Forty. The F-coax side is a little tight but doable.

Just what I needed for my truck. Holds my CB antenna in place just the way I need it. A good buy at a good price. 2 Thumbs up.

Item was received missing the most important parts, leaving it unusable. No SO239 connector and no insulating washer. Returned for refund.
