This is e a great leash, would have given it 5 stars except for the foam handle and the little rubber pieces at the end of the leash and at the handle. The foam around the handle just falls apart. This happens with all the leash that I have had. The foam is not meant for the elements. I sometimes let my dog run around at the park. There is wet grass, mud, water puddles. After about 6 months the foam handle just falls apart. The two rubber things that go over the sawn knot comes unglued. That is a quality control. Using better glue would work.

Have bought many longer leashes. I like this best. It is heavy enough but I can quickly wrap it up. I take my dog where he can run but he is a rescue and he hasn’t learned to trust enough to come back to me so he stays on a leash. The hook is solid and I know the line won’t snap. (I have had this happen with the flat nylon leashes. I like the bungee add on but I don’t use it much. I use a Martingale collar so if he does pull, the Martingale does the trick. I would buy it again.

Our dog has an issue with other dogs but loves to fetch hence the purchase. It’s done what we needed, doesn’t seem to bother her and it’s nice to be able to play outside. The only thing I don’t like it unraveling it to begin play - we got the 100 foot option and we seem to be taking a good bit of time to get it ready. But we like it and are keeping it.

I have an 80 lb doodle. She can destroy just about anything. Bought one 2 years ago and it still looks new. Ultra strong. Bought a 50 ft one to keep at camp. Love it

Great color, but if you are walking a big dog that pulls this leash is too stretchy. Would be great for walking a dog, of any size, but a pulling big dog will stretch it out completely...no control on walks. This leash is very durable.

*UPDATE*I was wrong. My dog did impact longevity of the last leash. While I am disappointed it was not more durable, I hope the next one will last longer if I pay better attention to my dog while using it.-------------------------------------------I really loved everything about this leash when it stayed together. Unfortunately, after the first couple weeks the rubber connection guards shown in the photo slipped down and started to fray the nylon line. I didn't believe it at first but noticed the rubber guards were in pretty bad shape. I don't keep this on my dog when not monitored so The degradation wasn't from him chewing it. Working with Amazon on a replacement. I might remove the rubber guards ahead of time with the next one.

So far so good. This is the first long runner that I've ever used. So far so good. Definitely have to get used to the extra space that you give your dog while walking in the street.He's roughly 65 lbs and a really strong puller. Depending on how it holds up, this could be a 5 star review.

I love everything about this leash but the clip is kinda funny. Seems like it would be less safe and maybe break before it's time. I returned and found this leash without the bungee, buying it separately. Other than the clip, I recommend this leash.
