Plants & Blooms Shop™ PB116 Orchid, 5", Purple

The first photo is when I received this orchid in October 2021. I selected the Purple one for “Admiration for God.” As you can see, the flowers are beautiful and fresh. It was professional packed with plenty of packing material. The flowers lasted nearly two months because others flowering pods were blooming while flowers were on the flowering stem. After all the flowers died, I cut the flowering stem back to the last place were there were flowers. I continued to water it weekly while fertilizering it every other week. (Orchid Food) I then noticed the new leaf starting to spout. During growing season, I continued fertilizing but being careful not to over do it usually using small amounts. (Raw Nitrogen) Switching up on which one I used. I believe by my adding the Raw Nitrogen is what got me the five beautiful flowers this year. Because, I did not get any flowering pods until I heard about the Raw Nitrogen and purchased it on Amazon and added it one day to the weekly watering. And to my surprise, the next week they were there. I continued the switching process, to my weekly watering until the flowering pods were mature and blooming. I do not know anything about orchids or any of my houseplants. However, I have researched each one of my houseplants and made a Use & Care Manual for my houseplants which have been very helpful. I also purchased two grow lights on timers because my houseplants are not near the east window which gives my houseplants the 12 hours of light that is needed. They are really thriving. I find my house plants are not only very beautiful, but also very therapeutic!

The media could not be loaded. Thought I was going to get an orchid at least similar to the photo but got this instead. A bud has already fallen off, the rest look like they will soon. The soil was all over. A lot of the roots are dead, which is NOT a good sign. I WANT to love this… but just can’t get over the monumental disappointment. All in all, for the price paid, I’m not happy… very sad since this was supposed to be a birthday gift.Update: about a month later now and I’m struggling to keep the plant alive. I’ve watch hours of tutorials on how to care for orchids and I shouldn’t have to struggle THIS hard. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! WAY overpriced for the amount of work that needs to go into salvaging this… beyond upset.

Delivered with pottery cracked and not useable. Disappointing.

Wow! I was very anxious for my first time order flower plant from Amazon! I took risk and hope this Orchid plant shipped from the greenhouse not from Amazon warehouse(?). Today, I just received a photo of the Orchid plant from whom I gifted to, and it is beautiful as I hoped for! So, this vendor (Plants & Blooms) and Amazon have my trust. I hope they keep up with this so, I will come back to order from them from now on!The only downside is Amazon doesn't allow "gift" message option but the quality is way far from this missing option.Update: 2nd purchase in Dec 2021: This time, the flowers are very much deadly felt off. I guess it could be due to the cold weather, winter. I took 1 star off.

Really pretty orchids in a vivid shade of purple. They were packed in a way that ensured the orchid plant arrived intact with all its flowers, flowerbuds and leaves.

My pics have been discarded. The petas were severely damaged and the small succulent was misshapen and not planted properly. The ent hIrede presentation appeared as if the flowers were reclaimed from the trash heap. I was refunded my money.
