One more useful use case for this cable ....I tried many cables with external SSD drives connected to USB ..... this one was the only one which gave the desired high data transfer rate.

I had an issue connecting my m8 Samsung display with my MacBook Pro using the usb-c 3.1 that came with the monitor.Apple kept telling me that I needed a thunderbolt 3 wire, since Mac don’t support USB-c 3.1.Bought this. But display is still not connecting.Ps: usb-c 3.1 connects fine with a windows pc.

The price is good for what you get! It looks sleek. I wouldn’t use it as a charger personally, but it has pass-through! It’s surprisingly thick, due to its nature of being a THUNDERBOLT cable. I use it with my Samsung T7 for transferring files and work. It’s a good enough length for most people, unless you’re using it for a display cable.
