CalphalonPremier Space Saving Nonstick 12" Round Grill

I bought this grill pan on a whim, because I already had the Calaphon Premier set and appreciated the quality build of it. Now that used it 10 times or so, this grill is my favorite pan of the set. It's tremendously convenient, fully substituting for an outdoor grill for small orders, like a burger or two, or a couple steaks, mushrooms and veg. I actually prefer it to the outdoor grill now, because the drippings collect in the pan instead of falling through to the flames, and can be used to flavor the other things you're cooking. It's large enough to keep almost all of the splatter in the pan, and cleans up with a wipe of a wet sponge. A great, easy to use pan.

great addition to premium set

Never thought I would be the type of person commenting on how good a pan is, but this space saving line from Calphalon is not only space saving but great with heat dispersion on the surface. It is quick to clean and overall I am very happy that I purchased this item. Got the 12 Round Griddle Pan as well and its great for pancakes and loads of other cooking uses- and the best part the griddle and the grill pan nest together to reduce space needed. Love it!

These have wide grill lines, and they don't give you that real grill flavor that the thinner grill lines give. I thought that it would be different with these expensive pans, but I was wrong. At lease it goes with my set, though. Also, it was very easy to clean.

I cant speak for the longevity of these pans yet, but with a life time warranty it seems a moot point. I cooked a very messy steak on it the night before. Left it all crusty and greasy on the stove over night. The next day I cleaned it right off... with a lemon peel. Yes. A lemon peel.The steak cooked much faster than I am used to and perfectly evenly.Day one.... it is love.
