I run these in all my bikes, much easier to install than other brands and provide lots of protection. Love the increased side all stiffness while running lower pressures.

I really like these, but I REALLY hated the install. Tanus needs to do a better job of setting expectations. If they were honest about how horrible the install process would be, I would give them 5 stars, but since they lie and show you of a video of a guy popping them in and 5 seconds later he's riding is at best, dishonest. Glad to have something protecting my carbon rims, disappointed that they straight up lie about an easy install.

Almost impossible to install. I’m well versed in tire and tire/rim protection installation. This products claim to easier installation is a joke. It never stays where it needs to once installed. It moves and causes a huge wobble. There are videos that show soap helps with that but it doesn’t. I tried for hours and many different ways to get it right but ended up returning them after I got them installed and saw the way they performed with a flat tire. It was a joke. Do not get them for run flats. You’d be better off taking the time to put a tube in. I recommend cushcore all the way. Easier to install, way more heavy duty foam and bomb proof. Won’t move around in tire once installed.

Better options out there

These are a nightmare to install. The company's videos on installation are useless. Like other reviews mention, you'll fight for an hour to get them on. Once on, they do not seat evenly. They cause the tires to rub the frame and fork.I'm no newb either. I was a professional mechanic for years. Got these for my son's bike. We liked the price and they seemed similar to CushCore. I can't vouch for CushCore's install or effectiveness, but I can not recommend these.

I spent 1 hour installing this on my rear wheel and 2.5 hours on my front. I bought these partly because they are supposed to be some of the easiest to install.Once I put them on, I had a slight wobble on the rear and a huge wobble on the front.The instructions on the Tannus website and the YouTube videos from Tannus show how to get the wobble out, but it did not work for me.So far, I am not impressed with these at all. Other message boards have similar issues.I am running 29” e13 TRS+ wheels (30mm wide) with Maxxis DHR 2 (29x 2.4) rear and Maxxis Assegai (29x 2.5) rear.

My local bike shop spent a couple of weeks wrestling with these in my tires to no avail. Never could get a proper seat on the bead and the tires would not hold air until they took the inserts out and went straight tubeless. Tires are new Maxxis DHR/DHF.

I've installed hundreds of tires. I tried these on both 27mm Nobl carbon rims and 30mm DT alloy rims with both single ply 2.3 and dual ply 2.4 tires. I could not successfully get these installed on any of these combinations after hours of trying.

No instructions, came is a brown box. Would be nice if they came with instructions.
