It will definitely take forever to heat up a pool but for your money?? It's a great deal

Used this in my tiny home to heat shower water. Took less than 5 minutes to heat 5 gallons to 100 degrees. Put in water properly, plig in unit and wait. Was not hot to the touch after waiting 1 minute to remove from water. Love this and saved a ton of money versus POU or water heater tank.

This product electrifies the water when I use it. I was trying to use it to heat a small kiddie pool. I got the smaller version (1500w) because I did not want to melt the electrical socket like some other people in the reviews have mentioned, however I still have also had this problem. Using a GFCI outlet and equipment rated for 1650w power consumption, I am still having all these issues that everyone else is having which makes me think the internals of the product are not wired correctly. Now on top of it,recently it has started shocking me when it is on and I touch the water in the tank. Also pieces of the heating element have started falling out. I have only purchased this a litte over 1 month ago and used it a handful of times. I feel it is unsafe to continue with and not worth the money I paid for it. Don't buy this thing, you will be sorry and/or possibly hurt from it.

This got a 4 gal bucket of water to 105 in about 10 minutes. Seems to be fine.I will see how long/how many uses this product has in it.

The immersion water heater stick works but keep this alert in mind -- it uses SO MUCH power that it blows out the electrical outlets. The outlet stops working. We've had to call an electrician to come and give an estimate on fixing all the plugs and lights (and microwave) that have stopped working because of using this immersion water heater. Don't use it on a GFI outlet and don't use it where anything else is on the same line so-to-speak. On the four listed CAUTIONS shown on the box, number 4 does say "The power of the product is high. Be sure to choose good quality socket." The house is not old and the electrical is up to date but heating a bucket full of water with this immersion stick is going to cost big bucks to pay the electrician. We are so disappointed because we really need the convenience of this water heating stick. This item does work and is convenient but it's possible the cost will be very high if you have to pay for the damage it causes. Buyer beware -- even if you think you have a "good quality socket."

This is currently being used for heating water for washing hands, clothes, dishes and such. It works so well the element melted our first water dispensing container. Just keep a close eye on it and follow directions. It works as advertised and then some.
