Daarej is one of those fragrances that had to grow on me. I really didn’t care for it when I first got it, but over time my opinion completely changed. It still isn’t something I’d put up against the favorites in my collection, but now I actually enjoy reaching for it when I want to switch things up from my usual rotation. It’s especially good for those chill days when I’m running errands, grabbing something to eat, or heading out without doing anything too serious. The scent profile is warm, sweet, spicy, and slightly powdery. The opening can come across a little sharp and unusual, which may have been part of why it didn’t immediately click with me, but the dry down is where it gets much better. The vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and tonka give it a smoother, warmer feel while the spices and florals keep it from becoming just another basic sweet vanilla fragrance. It has its own character, but at the same time it’s relaxed enough that I don’t feel like I need a particular occasion to wear it. Performance has been decent for the type of role it fills in my collection. The longevity gets me through a casual outing, and the projection and sillage give it enough presence without making it feel like I walked into the room before I actually did. For the price, I really can’t complain. It went from something I didn’t care much for to a fragrance I can casually throw on when I want a break from my main rotation, and sometimes that’s exactly what I need.

I got this perfume for my husband and I am in love with it! The weirdest thing is that the first couple weeks it was an ok fragrance, well after a month it got bolder and very defined. It is very sexy but still had the most gorgeous perfumy formality, I can't describe it but for my nose it is a never come back, I really want to stay there smelling his chest and all over his skin. What I can say it is a hidden masterpiece of a perfume and for that price a total steal. Believe me I wasn't expecting that much for that price but since it came from Rasasi I took the chance and not regrets at all, a total banger that will stay at home with me!

My wife loves this stuff on me. Honestly, Rasasi is the best perfumer in the world in my opinion. I've spent a couple hundred bucks on some bottles of cologne, and Rasasi is still the leader. I was super disappointed with other brands after trying this one. This is a dupe of a discontinued Valentino's. I've never smelled anything like it. It's a warm smell, comforting, masculine. Not for everyone, I wouldn't call it a youthful smell. But I haven't smelled any old men that smell like this either. It's just kind of it's own scent, not really comparable to anything else on the market today. The longevity is there for most all scents Rasasi offers, especially this one. But it's not too strong, but stays with you.

Nice smell and it lasted on my boyfriend for hours and he received plenty of compliments. I will purchase again.

I have Valentino V and it's a good dupe, I'd say just about 1 to 1. If you want to try Valentino V for a fraction of the price, this is a good buy. Longevity isn't great, but neither was the original. Overall pretty unique light fragrance that can be worn anywhere.
