Longer than anticipated
This new author for me told a longer than expected story but the characters were so easy to identify with that I could not put the book down.

oh Gabriel
If your looking at this and haven’t read The Album, I would highly recommend stating there. Read The Album, Wedding, Baby and Stalker before coming back to read Gabriel’s Album.Okay so spoiler abound for all those 4 books listed above, so technically yes, spoilers for this book as well because you know what you are getting into with this one.Knowing all that though, this was honestly harder for me than The Album. Gabriel’s version of events that go down really tear at my heart just a bit more than they did in Ariana’s to be honest and then of course we see a bit more of Gabriel’s dark period when she leaves him (if this is a spoiler for you see paragraph 1 & 2).It also put some of Heather’s emotional turmoil at Ariana’s leaving into extra perspective which I really enjoyed. I cannot recommend reading both versions more. Now I’m off to go be devastated by Harrison’s Wedding.

I Will Wait For You!
Gabriel, Ariana and the band make for a very interesting romantic tale. On one hand Ari and and Gabe are very much in love, however on the other so many peaks and valleys unfold to make this quite a bumpy road to traverse. Just when I thought it was going to be this beautiful love story, it turns into this tragic tale of loss and pain endured over time. Gabe is left with his broken heart and never really gets over his one true love.

ROLLERCOASTER RIDE
Wow, this really is like a carnival ride with all of its ups and downs and really ups and really sad downs. You can't get off off the ride until its over and the attendant raises the bar and lets you off. The characters are off the charts but instead of asking how we felt about Sebastian you should've asked about Arians because I'm still torn about her. Sebastian I really liked - actually I liked the entire band and their brand of caring so much about each other. Again, WOW!

I think I love this book even more than I do The Album. It could be because we get to see a little more rockstar stuff in this one than we do in Ariana's book...Full disclosure, I was there when Sian wrote it, and I helped edit it, so I'm probably a little (read: a lot) biased. The new bits in this book (the stuff you don't get to see in The Album) made me squee like a fangirl. Yes, I'm that easy... LOL One of my favorite parts of the book, is when they finally manage to drag Gabriel up the hill (you have to read the book to know what hill), and his acceptance of status quo. This is where he starts to come to terms with everything. It's still a long road ahead, but this is the turning point of sorts.Gabriel's Album is a true companion to The Album, and these books should be read together. A lot of things make more sense when you've seen both sides of the story.

Loved it!
This is the first book in the Cruise Control Series. I’ve never read anything by this author and I wasn’t disappointed. The rock star wins the girl, then loses the girl. Does he get her back? You’ll have to read it to find out. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. Ariana was childish and immature all through the book. I was glad she left. My heart ached for Gabriel. All the characters were well developed and easily relatable. There are characters you will live and ones you will hate. I loved the author’s writing style. It was an easy read and one I couldn’t put down. There was a twist or two towards the end I didn’t see coming. The ending was worth dealing with Ariana and her issues. I can’t wait to read book two.I voluntarily read and reviewed a free copy of this book.

Nice book
This is a great way to see his pov. I prefer books like that as you never know what is going on with him or her. I like that it goes to the same place as the album goes. I just wish he would have pursued Ari after the tour, but then you would have a different story.
