you don't realize how dull the old cutter is until you get new ones! my old ones still work - sometimes it's a little of a struggle but they still cut the box and tape - however, I forgot how EASY it was to use these when they are fresh and new! now it's as fast as like using a hot knife to cut butter. I do have one small nitpick though - these are brand new but except for the blades, the plastic casing looks as old as my used ones. I mean I'd rather have ugly & effective over cute but worthless, but still... and also, why can't they ever make these in cute shades of pink. in all seriousness, I've used scissors, oval box cutters, retractable cutters, you name it, but this is my favorite box cutter to use. it's easy to hold, easy to use, is strong enough to cut the boxes themselves when I accidentally go astray in opening a box, I've never had one break on me, and when a little bit of cardboard or tape gets stuck to the blade, it's super easy to clean it off.

These Klever Kutter knives do a fantastic job cutting pallet plastic wrap and cardboard swiftly and safely. I have seen my share of nasty cuts by box knives, and they do have a place, but safety is not their best attribute. Assembly line work is pretty quick and quick cuts are required to open stock on the fly to keep up with the workload. Plus, they are not worth a hoot for cutting anything but cardboard and plastic wrap so you won't be dulling it up using it for anything else! I buy them for my wife who works at the local auto assembly plant and she loves 'em. I don't know of too many box cutters that you can filet a cardboard/plastic wrapped pile of parts with and jam in your back pocket in.5 seconds without gigging yourself in a couple of choice spots. My favorite use for these tools is for cutting e-tape on cable bundles. No matter what, simply sliding this along the length will cut very well. The blade is sharp but there's no way for skin to come in contact.

These box cutters are very useful especially if you routinely have cardboard boxes that need to be broken down. I'm sure they're handy for other things as well. I'm glad I have these around the house. You never know when you'll need a box cutter.

These things are wonderful. I use them at work on the daily. They stay sharp and they is no chance in cutting yourself at all. I've been using them for about 4yrs and they are a wonderful product. I cut boxes open a lot at work so they get a workout.

I work in retail and frequently misplace regular box cutters. This is nice because I can keep it on my person all the time and not have to worry about accidentally stabbing myself in the leg through my pocket.It did arrive looking a bit old. I think it's just the design and it doesn't really take away from anything but it was a little odd.

I used this to easily cut through that nasty plastic packaging that can send you to the ER. It works to open boxes easily. I haven't used it yet to open any letters or those puffy envelopes.I wish it came in bright eye catching colors so I could easily find it in my cluttered work space.

These are inexpensive box openers and cardboard cutters that I use at my warehouse. When the warehouse began to run short of them but forbid us from brining our own knives, I ordered these online. They are serviceable and quite safe, although they take a little getting used to if you are used to conventional box openers.

So handy! Excellent for cutting tape on boxes, cutting string or zap ties, at home, work, camping, in the yard, for hobbies, etc. Great to find a cutting tool with a shielded blade: safe for kids to use. Design of cutter makes it easy to use. I got one years ago and was bereft when it got lost; so glad to see it on amazon.ca!

Ich hab den Amazon Support gefragt, ob man hier denn statt 3 blauen und 2 schwarzen 5 schwarze Klever Kutter bekommen kann. Die Frau vom Amazon Support hatte null Ahnung und hat felsenfest behauptet, man bekomme nur einen einzigen Klever Kutter für den angegebenen Preis, obwohl da auch Preis pro Stück stand. Amazon Support war alles andere als hilfreich, Produkt ist aber gut.

My husband is an electrician and actually uses these for stripping tech cables. This was a tip from a co-worker. He loves them. They would have also been super useful when I was working in a warehouse, for opening boxes.

Excellent cutter. I use it to skin electrical cable and cut open boxes. No problem. Safe too.
